The Giants struggled a lot more in pass defense . If you look at the mock on the player site ... Revis goes 12th and Poz 27th . It also has the Giants skipping Poz for Hughes .

Chris Houston, Arkansas 5011 185 4.45

wanted to address the loss of RCB Darrent Williams with the 1st rd. pick the elite corners are usually gone by rd. 2. had to determine the best fit left on the board for the physical style of new DC Jim Bates. Physical, aggressive, @ the line of scrimmage with prototype combination of size and speed for position. nice little hand punch to get initial jam. After the jam, Houston has a smooth hip turn to run with receivers and has great agility. Good foot quickness to react to receivers' moves and break on the ball. Quick hands and long arms, which he uses well to deflect passes. Rare strength for the position. Benches 450 pounds. Effective tackler in space. Good leaper and competes for every pass, in other words a bookend to LCB Champ Bailey.

Says Seattle, but it is New Englands first of two. I needed seattle up there so I would't forget.
earlier wacky tobacy is taking it's tole on old ttp.

Eagles select Micheal Griffin, Safety, Texas. Reason for pick. Only two Safety's on roster with Mikell an UFA and Lewis will not be back. Pick could change to WR if Stallworth is not resigned.

FYI. Reports from up here that the Eagles talked a lot with Blalock at the Senior Bowl.Considering that they drafted Jean-Gilles last year, it seems to me that they are not happy with his progress. J-G came to camp out of shape and didn't dress for any games this past year.

Andy Reed seems to make a habit of taking the big uglies day one. Runyan can't go on forever. Runyan's been a prety good pro in my book. They're just sniffing around in case Blalock slips into the second. They already have Andrews. Blalock might make the perfect compliment on the right side a few years down the road. That's what the good teams do. Draft o-lineman with high day one picks till they get it right. We've nere done this. Then all they have to do is get thier groomer guys on day two and let them work themselves into the line up. Must be nice ?

Some of us up here joke that Andy Reid's dream offence is Westbrook, McNabb, and nine linemen.
Though it would drive most of the fans crazy, the Blalock idea has some merit.
They have Justice to take over for Tra Thomas, might even be next year. Todd Herremans is really a Tackle, and probably Runyan's replacment. Todd was the left guard this year. Draft Blalock and the furture line looks like this.
Herremans, RT, Andrews RG, Jackson,C, Blalock, LG. Justice, LT. Leaves Jean- Gilles, Scott Young, Nick Cole, and Pat McCoy (Tackle who they really like ) as backups. Any one of these four could be traded for draft picks down the road.

As a fan, I would like to see them do something in the way of LB. I really like Buster Davis from Fla., but he is not a first round pick and the kid from Miss. or Poz. most likely are gone at 26.

I am not gonna make it back in time for my pick, so I pick either Ben Grubbs (OG, Auburn) or Buster Davis (LB, FSU) if Grubbs is taken.

Got it Martin...rep your way good job.

Andrerulz hasn't been on in three days. Hope he's alright. One of you early risers tomorrow ...7 am or so make the pick for us please. Like to get to round three befor the combine starts...if we're moving on.
