New York Jets please...

and before Denverborn gets grumpy about the whole southern hemisphere thing I will make sure that if my pick might come up overnight (my time) I will put a couple of names to pick from.

I'm going to sit this one out, let someone else have a turn - so no grumpiness from me!

Edit: for those who are going to tell me I am already too late, I had plenty of opportunities to sign up -

me too. It was just too maddening for me to sit there and wait. I know everyone has there own particular circumstances...but it drove me crazy.

So If Cleveland is interested in Branch or one of the other DTs or DEs...do we work the phones for a move up ? Or we got way to many holes ? JT is on the board.

at the rate this is going I will be making my the Patrtiot's 2007 pick around the time the 2008 draft begins...

i will keep peeking in during the meantime

Yeah @ 52% VY is a lazar with the rock. No whole too small. No WR to closely covered. Please.

more like no WR period. VY had little to no talent around him to work with. The Titans WR corps was and still is garbage. Its a free world, but please leave the 'sour grapes' anti-VY agenda in The Bullpen where it belongs. Completion percentages are for losers and many of us being Texans fans, know that all too well.

vy was so last years draft....this is the AP draft (if he falls you KNOW we are going to pick him)
AP is healthy and contrary to popular opinion is not injury-prone. If not for a collarbone injury (an injury that heals and rarely re-injures) he would be arguably the #1 prospect in this draft. He has the potential to be the next great back in the NFL.

If he grades out well with the doctors and the combine/personal workout I could even see him going #1 to Oakland by the time the draft rolls around. His resume is impeccable and is just a pure baller. He can go inside or outside and once he gets around the corner he reminds me of a Bo Jackson type with his combination of power and speed. He is the prototype NFL workhouse back and I can't see any scenario where Kubes wouldn't take him if he fell to us.

Sadly, he won't fall to us....but what do I know, I thought the Texans were taking Bush...anything can happen *says a silent prayer for AP*

wow two safeties off the board by pick 12. that's very interesting.

was shocked @ the Ginn pick by Minn. who has clearly turned themselves into more of a running team and having been burnt by williamson.

are they turning into Detroit?

wow, even the second time around you have posters signing up who then don't check back in to make their picks. Is anyone keeping track of these deadbeats? Why would anyone sign up for this draft if they aren't going to make their pick?

Well, 6 hours is really tough. If a person is at work and cant check the message board it makes it real tough to do these types of things. Thats why i liked the 12 hour rule. It gives a person more than enough time to get home from work and still make their picks.

Carolina takes: Patrick Willis, LB, Ole Miss

Yes, I'm the actual person who's supposed to draft for Carolina. Yes, I made the pick only 1 hour after Kast announced I was on the board. And no, I don't see why people sign up only to quit caring or forget about this!

With the 15th pick, the Steelers select...

Levi Brown, OT from Penn State

The Steelers gave up more sacks than the Texans...ouch. They still ranked in the top 10 for passing yards. Ben will do damage with more time to throw.
