Here you go a break down of this year's draft picks by conference, in order:

ACC........51
Big Ten....41
SEC.........37
Pac 10.....32
Big XII......29
Mt. West...12
Big East.....11
C-USA........7
MAC...........6
WAC..........5
A 10..........3
Indepent....3 (Is this only ND?)
Southland...2
SWAC........2
Big Sky......2
GWC.........2
MAIAA......2
Gateway...1
Ivy...........1
Lone Star...1
Mid-East.....1
N. Cent......1
Ohio Valley..1
Penn. St.....1
Southern.....1

ACC on top, by 10, which I quess shouldn't surprise me; but by 10 over teh Big 10. Kinda goes against the thinking that the SEC is teh best football conference, atleast when it comes to producing pro talent.

Well ACC has always had a lot of high picks having the U in there. They run a pro-style football team and their players translate well

They added Miami and Virginia Tech to their conference this past year. Those two schools had 18 of the 51 ACC players drafted.

That's why I wasn't surprised that they were first, just by the margin.

But didn't someone say that Mario Williams played in a weak conference? Even though I stated the ACC is one of the toughest Conf (and first true super conf). I guess the draft proved it!

Navy, Army, Temple and ND make up the "Indy" Conf.
