I think we have 18 (13 unrestricted and 5 restricted) including Payne, Bradford, Norris and Faggins. Who are the rest?

Some may not realize this but when the Texans go nickel, it's Robinson that plays the nickel position and Faggins at #2 corner. That's how Rob's been getting his sacks - blitzing off phoney press coverage on the slot guy.Faggins: Quatity nickel back

That's how Capers used Rod Woodson at the Corner with the Steelers. Its all part of his zone blitz scheme. He was always shifting around guys like Lake and Woodson utilizing the speed off the corners. I was curious why we rarely blitzed off the corners last year but then again we didn't have as much speed as with the new addition of Dunta, he ran 4.34 and 4.36 40 yard dashes at the combine. It would seem that looking back at now he was made for the zone blitz. In this years draft when you read scouting reports look for things like "good in zone coverage", that's always a tip on how Capers likes his players.aj. said:Some may not realize this but when the Texans go nickel, it's Robinson that plays the nickel position and Faggins at #2 corner. The Depth Chart if Banks go will have Carr #1 (duh), Ragone #2 and BJ Symons #3Dubya said:I'd hate to see us lose Banks. The guy has actually won some football games for us. He's a good backup. If we let Banks go, do we use Ragone as #2 or get another QB to take Banks' place?
the wonger need food said:Banks thinks he can be a starter somewhere else. Good luck with that one.
They need a quality #2, Ragone is not going to accomplish that. A Testeverde-type that can step in and hold the fort for a few games is needed.
When he's on his game, I think he is clearly superior to Walker. But they canaj. said:He is probably our best d-lineman and I hope they are able to re-sign him. His injury may affect his ability to get "big" money with another team but I'm not aware of any other problems other than the one surgically repaired knee. He's still not able to carry as much weight as he wants but I think next season he could return as good as new. He's going to be 30 in February so you don't want to go crazy on a contract like they did with Walker. The fact that they invested so much in Walker and Smith will have an effect on what they will be willing spend to re-sign Payne, Sears, and DeLoach.
