All Flopper
Adrian Peterson would be the perfect RB for our Ravens defense Bronco's running game that everybody keeps talking about.

Rnd 1 AP
Rnd 2 Buster Davis
Rnd 3 B Grubbs
Rnd 4 L peters FS IMO he has potential to be a superstar. He also has potential to be a grocery bagger.
Rnd 5 L Booker RB
Rnd 6 Daniel Sepulveda A punter with a extremely powerful leg that can help us win the field position battle.
Rnd 7 Small school DT

OR my favorite

If Adrian Peterson is gone then continue to build our defense. IMO what our defense needs most is a ball hawking FS like Ed Reed. So we could look at Reggie Nelson. At the ninth pick Reggie Nelson is a bit of a reach.

So I would then look to trade back. The 9th pick is worth 1350 the 13th pick is 1150 and 77th (3rd round) is worth 205 wich equals 1355. We could throw in our seventh rounder 12 pts. Now its 1362 pts for 1355 pts close enough for me.

Round 1 (13th) Reggie Nelson FS Potentially Ed Reed Like.
Round 2 (41st) Buster Davis Solidifies LB core for along time
Round 3 (73rd) Benn Grubbs Nasty Guard should be a starter from day 1
Round 3 (77th) Dan Bazuin DE For passing situations
Round 4 (105th) Steve Breaston WR, KR I think Kubes might cut Mathis this offseason because of his inability to stay healthy and be an effective WR.
Round 5 (137th) Lorenzo Booker RB lightning to Dayne's thunder
Round 6 (169th) Daniel Sepulveda A punter with a extremely powerful leg that can help us win the field position battle.

DeMeco and Buster = DeMuster = Im a looser.

I could live with that.

I would rather look for a Bowe at WR a round earlier or so than Breaston.

I see 3 WR who are physically as close to AJ as you can chizel. All have great body control and hands. Two play for big time SEC schools, one has succeded with no QB.

1. Calvin Johnson Georgia Tech
2. Robert Meachem Tenn
3. I want to say Dwayne? Bowe from LSU

All three of these guys can haul. It's not mathis speed, but it is top end no doubt. All three are phenominal. I would take all three before Jarrett or Ginn or the ND reciever.

i'm with you on jarrett. he's pretty overrated because of the helmet he wears, but scouts aren't that high on him. late 1st at best.

meanwhile, meachem and bowe's stocks keep rising. they're first rounders right now, and meachem especially could make a huge leap up the charts with a good combine.

your starting to scare me

assume the Texans beat the Browns (yeah, I know) & the Texans have the 9th pick in the draft would they go offense & select a WR like Meachem? this would be akin to the last couple of drafts for me I would probably have a heart attack :goodnight

Not that big a jump i dont think, but he is playing himself into top 20 and will workout really well.

All three of those WR's would be a the top of a normal class. Bowe is extremely underrated by everyone. He is CJ lite basicly. Meachem is the one to watch though. He has the best speed of the group and could be really special, really soon.

Jarrett is going to be a possession reciever/red zone target. Ginn is going to be tried as a #2, fail, and be moved to PR/KR/Slot WR.

CJ and Meachem will be #1's on whoever drafts them right away...for the most part. Bowe has the same skills but is so underrated. He will start as a #2 and flourish. Standout crop of #1 WR's this year IMO.

I can't see us taking a WR with a top 10 pick unless it was Calvin Johnson and even then I think we would deal the pick.

So...our back up for Spencer for '08 is Salaam again ? Or worse a free agent ? Overall I like the players you list. However, you may not be able to draft based on need high. But to totally ignore it...well I think that's a bit fool hearty. Grubs as good as he is is not going to back up the weakest link on the o-line. You've got way too many chips on Spencer's leg. What is it about the o-lineman that you do not like ? Inquiring minds want to know .

I want an elite OT. However, there is only one this year and we are drafting too late to get him. Gaither next year is elite. We will probally go the route of a sleeper or undersized guy.

Long and Baker aren't elite or even really that great IMO.
