Wonder if there is more to the story of our s/c coach leaving?
Correct me if I'm wrong but the S/C coach wouldn't be the one to make the call on if a guy can play again or not. I would think that would be the MD making that call.

Probably correct about that.
With our teams MD's reputation around here I doubt the S/C coach would do worse though.

That's correct. MDs clear for play. Then HC/coordinator/position coach decide actual play.

No he is just living up there maybe as a personal trainer or something, but he is not employed by the Broncos. The assistants he brought with him are still here however, and the Texans just hired Cushing to help with S/C and the defense. Idk if they are still searching for a head S/C guy, or if they will just promote one. I'd assume promotion since they just re-designed everything from the weight room to cafeteria based on Richesson

I may be the only one, (according to the front page of MSN), that is glad to have Brian Cushing back. Few people, like maybe JJ, know as much about building strength and muscle mass. As far as his use of PEDs, that's not an issue to me. "Brian, take care to read and sign that last little clause at the bottom that's reads .... I understand that if I, in any way, fail to comply, I will be killed !! He will laugh and sign .... he knows the clean way !!
I was a fan of making Cushing our 1st round pick in 2009 too..

I wanted Cushing and for Ricky to trade back into the 1st for Matthews. I actually liked Matthews more than Cushing due to his family genes and them staying healthy throughout their NFL carrers.

Eh... he may know how to add muscle mass to his body. I don't know if he knows how to determine what is right for another.
I don't have a problem with Cush as our strength & conditioning coach. I hope things work out for him the way he wants it to.
I suppose we could ask him if he knows how a CB or a QB should build their bodies .... but I'm pretty sure I know his answer .... and I would not dispute it !
