We can agree on 2 0f 3. I would address LT in first (preferably after a trade down) I would sign Samuel to go with Bennett, Hutchins and hopefully DR who might not play again. This would solidify CB and take pressure off safety and LBs. In 3rd, I see a RB unless a trade down gets us a 2nd and then RB here. In 4th a center and in 5th OLB. As some have suggested moving Ryan to OLB and Diles is almost a clone in size, why not try Diles at OLB? I can see a free agent RB to compete with Green & Dayne but Eche has to make roster as does Taylor. BTW, Taylor has 28 rushes for 123 yards. Not much to hang your hopes on. Like Charles Spencer, he did look good, until you blinked. I am not saying to not allow either to show up in 08, but I want other options than two guys who played two games each.

I just am not comfortable with our current OLBs to hang my hat on them. We will never have a good defense until we have some explosion and play maker ability out of them. I think that is one of our glaring holes that people over look when calling for RB so high. Ive said it once and Ill say it again, I am a lot more comfortable with our RBs than our LB corp and secondary. Those positions have to come first.

I for one could live with another pick on the DL, especially another impact DE to bookend with Mario and free up Okoye and TJ.

The defense is designed to have pressure from the front four, the guy Beerlover picked would give us that front four... then the scheme starts to fall into place, everything else works better, the defense gets off the field, the improved offense gets plenty of opportunities... and we win football games. Whats not to like.
