10 NFL Players On The Hot Seat

It would be nice if these expert journalists could get the score right. Yea, it doesn't change much and we don't "deserve" must respect based on performance as everyone loves to point out, but it was 22-7 not 27-7.

Man. I know the play calling has been suspect for a hot minute, but DC does need to step up as the leader. 4 yrs, man. It's that time. IT'S ABOUT TIME, we see more of that fire from those close losses in the past - yeah it sounds jacked up, but those were some caliber teams. c'mon, DC. WE WANT TO WIN.

Here is something I do not get. How can you call it "Top 10 PLAYERS on the Hot Seat" and then put Martz on it?

Also there were a lot of questionable choices.

Martz is a coach.
Surtan has played 1 game for KC!
Pennington has been injured a lot.
Jamal Lewis is a poven back. Give the guy a break.

It has been said many times, but I would really like to see what ANY other young QB could have done in the situation DC has been put in. I have seen to many times when DC has stepped up not to believe that he will do it again.

In management it is often said that you can not hold someone responsible if they don't have the authority. This applies to Carr in the sense he calls nothing but some audibles. Its not like Manning where basically he calls his shots or like the flexibility that Montana had. Carr is a pupet and a whipping boy for this coaching staff. I wonder what input Carr has? If the coaches can't agree(Capers and Palmer) how is anyone else suppose to buy into what's going on. The coaching staff is in chaos. The worst part is the sheep are pulling the wool over the eyes of the owner. I'm beginning to think Casserly is just as responsible as Capers. Carr has always been the consimate company man and he has paid a big price. Basically his carrer has been ruined by inept coaching.

I see it, too.

Carr is wayyyyyyy too solid of a guy to just say, "Alright. Enough is enough. I'm taking the reins now."

Nope. He'll continue to be the good soldier (errrr..sailor, I mean) and he'll go down with the ship.

He shouldn't. But he will.

He can do it if he wants to. He could tell McNair all sorts of things and lay down the law, especially if he had AJ go with him. Not a threat of jumping ship, but just saying "Hey, we're the ones on the field. We're the ones forced to follow a coaching staff that's in chaos. Turn us loose, give us a chance to at least have a say in most of the playcalling."

To me, Carr is in a place in his career where he should be given the right to handle some playcalling.

I am not too sure about this...Carr seems to have lost at least some of his fire, maybe it's just me but I remember him getting fired up on the field last season went things were going bad and I did not see it last weekend...The look on his face, I cannot even describe it, lost, confused, depressed, I don't know...And after the comments he made after last weeks game it seems he has lost confidence, whether it be in the coaches or his teamates I don't know...Carr just does not seem the same to me anymore, but maybe it's me...I am starting to get worried that players like AJ and DRob might wanna jump ship soon if this team does not pull a 180 fast and I can't blame them really, they want to win...After the release of Glenn and Sharper and now this season with the comments from Carr and AJ I am really worried about things...Maybe I am all wrong...I hope I am anyways...Things seem worse this season than they ever have, even worse than our first season, at least our first season it seemed our team was at least pumped up to play...I may be rambling but it's late, I am still at work, I'm tired, and I'm worried...

he has been whiped in submission by dom and chrissy palmer, what do you do when your leader is a dip stick....and the owner wont do anything about it and you are chained down with a contract,i bet david wishes or a season ending injury to stop the pain

its hard to b fired up when you've been sackeed 170 times in 3 seasons. plus 13 in two games

I don't care if he was sacked 1000 times, it's his job, this is what he is paid for, I said it before in another post, you pay me $8 million, I'll let you kick me in the crotch 100 times a day for a year and I'll come to work fired up every day...
