10/23 Colts vs Texans Predictions

I will try to buck the trend since I have been "the Cooler" to the Texans fortunes with my predictions and say that the Texans will get blown out.

Colts 38
Texans 10

Did you hear that Football Gods? Colts win, Texans lose.

*With Texans scoring in the final 4qtr with the colts backups and an empty stadium by half time.

I will be rooting for the texans for the first time (and hopefully ONLY time) ever come Sunday.

But, lets be realistic:

Against the Titans:

Running back Domanick Davis led the Texans with a season-high 130 yards on 19 carries (6.8 avg.), earning his ninth career 100-yard rushing game. Well gee Wilbur, how about ummm, let's see this is hard, let me think, oh yeah, how about the last freakin' time they played Indy?

128 yds at 5.6 ypc and 73 yds on 6 receptions. But I guess 201 yds of O with a TD doesn't qualify as good.

Any varmit will find a pecan under an oak tree if he looks long and hard enough. So DD has had 1 "good" game in 3 years, well Wilbur, let's put the franchise tag on him, he may do it again in the next 3 years...
 
I was pretty close last week with my 40-something to 13 prediction. I'm feeling 33-0 on this one....Hopefully we score.

Texans will score a field goal in the first quarter. Then wont score again until the 3rd where they will get another FG and then 4th quarter they will score a TD. Colts will dominate this game - but GO TEXANS

Manning should pass for about 3 TDs, James goes in for 2, Vander Jagt kicks 2 FGs. Texans get their usual TD and two FGs by Brown. That adds up to 41-13.

Biggest upset of the season...Jughead starts a fight with refs in the second quarter because a newbie ref didnt know he was supposed to be throwing a flag everytime Jughead was tapped and then Jughead gets thrown out. Then the refs throw the ref who threw Jughead out for not leg-humping the NFLs golden boy,

I can see it now...

Although conventional wisdom tells me different, I cannot bring myself to predict against something I am true & loyal to:

Texans - 31
Colts - 27
 
I hope the Texans win as well, but since im not a homer I have to say 38-16 Colts.

Prove me wrong Texans, please.
 
Manning will get to sit out the 4th quarter because the game will be already out of reach for us.
