1-2 Punch!

I'm wondering if anyone else besides me would see bringing in Steve Slaton's old quarterback in next year intriqueing. Pat White should not be a top pick or maybe not even 1st rounder pick. 2nd or 3rd round maybe we could have a 1-2 punch in the future. Starting him out behind Schaub and giving him some time when Schaub eventually gets hurt.

It would only add to the excitement of our offense. I wouldn't be against the pick if it were on the 2nd day. 1st and 2nd round needs to be some defensive studs. Maybe a trade down in the 1st again? Then we could pick him in the 3rd round like we did Slaton!

I don't know how well Pat White really projects to the NFL. He's a spread offense QB and that typically doesn't turn out well in the NFL. If a team picked him before the 4th round I'd laugh. He would make for an interesting Randle-El type player(before he stupidly went to to DC).

He's listed at 6'-1" and 192 lbs. As Goldensilence and Bah007 stated, he doesn't really project as a QB.

He's a play maker at the college level, but not an NFL QB, and a boarderline NFL player. Slight frame, weak arm, no experience at WR.

Its either the CFL or find another position in the NFL ..... Sorry but I dont want to waste a pick on a project who would likely be an UDFA. This team has far too many holes to fill to waste picks on projects.
