Pacino pulled Steamin Willie Beamen after he led them to the playoffs. After the first half he put him back in and it had a tremendous effect on his leadership skills.
Kubiak has watched some film me thinks
Sell coke out of your car, just as long as you play well. Stomp someone in the face with cleats. Bud Adams, could go on forever about that jacktard.
Needless to say Tenn is a classless organization, and a hunk of crap. Give me 0-16 before team like the Titans.
Must be nice living in a fantasy land where you can change philosophies and personnel overnight.
It takes awhile to rebuild. Knee jerk reactions will get nowhere.
Yes, Thompson was standing on the same yardage marker that Peterson was.
The point where he released the ball was close to half a yard behind AD, thus making it a forward pass.
Surely all the critizing of Carr and VY's release points on this board would have taught ya something.
The injury bug from last year was a high ankle sprain which he kept trying to play through. At least he's willing to try to play versus a RB who won't play till he feels 100%...after being told his knee will never feel the way it once did
With the DD situation, keep in mind the average career of an NFL RB is 5 yrs.
I hope he is able to come back and be a decent 1st and 2nd down back and gets replaced by a banger who can pick up blitzes on 3rd.
DD's health is not his fault, the blame is squarely on Capers and Co. They...
Talking about statistics only
I cut Vick on my fantasy team and now rotate Grossman, Frye, and Carr based on matchups. Vick will have an awesome game, then will kill you the next, add in the fact he has yet to complete season he doesn't make the top 10
Not in order, off the top of my head, I'm most likely leaving someone out.
Frye, Grossman, Hasselbeck, Peyton, Brees, Pennington, and Kitna
I put Carr, Pennington, Kitna, and Grossman all about the same level.
edited McNabb, knew I'd forget one
Davis is done. Won't play till knee feels better, knee won't ever feel like it used to, refuses to have it worked on again.
GB cut a 1st round DB today. We'll be better when Faggins gets back, but I'm more concerned about Brown than the CB's
Not running the 2 min drill wasn't because of the mediocre offense, but rather the mental state of the D if our drill failed and Mia. scored. Add another 30 secs to the clock at the end of the half, I think Miami would have put points on the board.
I probbably should have made a new thread with those thoughts, but take a look back at most of the threads about Carr, the draft, and most decisions the Texans have made, and you'll see why this is frustrating.
Studies have shown that a college fan will never bet against their team, but a pro football fan will bet against their team without thinking twice. College fans live and die with their team, pro fans like to kill their teams, no matter how the team does they find something to nitpick. Houston...
While not popular it was smart.
If the RB broke one for 20 yds then you would see a 2 min offense. He didn't so we sat on the ball. If there was a turnover and Miami went up by 7 at the end everyone on the damn board would be calling for heads stating we should have learned from the...
