Prediction Time Steelers vs. Texans

Green hobbles off the field at some time during the game. That's a pretty safe prediction.
 
How the Texans do on offense all depends on the the running game IMO and how the D does is really going to depend on how the Dbacks do in coverage and how well the pass rush does.

Unless we have a consistent pass rush,(which is a good possibilty, because of their O-line issues) then I think think Big Ben could have his way with our suspect secondary. But since I think our D-line will be up for the challenge, 20-17, Texans.
 
I predict rothy connects with holmes for a 60 plus yarder, parker hits a homerun of at least 50 or more, and i throw crap at the tv while cursing cc brown. Slaton scores his first pro td, goes for 80 yards, and houston loses an ugly, embarassing game that will put the mb on suicide watch.

The Steeler fans on the site I've been to are complaining about their O-line. I don't know if it's as bad as they say it is, but our D-Line has two good players and two fillers. Our defensive secondary is suspect at best. Unless Green shows up healthy and has a good game, we won't get past 80 yards rushing against the Steelers and they'll eventually clamp down on our passing if that happens. Our salvation in this game, if it comes, will be the return game and a few Schaub to AJ long passes.

I look for an ugly game and an opening loss. On the Steelers site I predicted we'd win, but honestly, I just don't see it. If I had any faith at all in Green having a good game or our secondary getting lucky with a few interceptions, I'd feel different.

Sorry guys, I hate to say it, but I think we'll be 0-1 to start the year. I sure do hope I'm proven wrong on this.
 
At Pitt is not where any team would want to play week 1.... especially w all the moving parts we currently have. Tough semi-low scoring game.... I will hope for the best, but predict a loss unfortunately.

I give us a descent chance to win the season opener - the one at home,
the season home opener against the Baltimore Ravens.
As for the game in Pittsburg this Sunday, if only it wasn't "THE" season opener for the Steelers who we might catch otherwise looking beyond our game to a division rival or another long-time competitor like the Pats or the Colts. Sorry, talk is cheap and our D in particular looked awfully vulnerable in
that game involving the starters for > a half:

I predicted ugly, and ugly is what we got. Not excatly something I wish to happen again though.
 
Even though I predicted I lost, I once again underestimate the opponents and overestimate our team. Some things never change....

These are the CLOSEST picks folks....Dante & SWT's were almost SCARY.

Scariest part of all...it could have been WORSE. If it was Belichick on the other side of the ball, the starters would've played till it was over and added another 2TDs.
 
I've never predicted a Texans loss and I never will. Until the end of time I will see every game as a Texans win until their opponent proves to me otherwise.
