Anyone like to go fishing? Where are the good spots? I live on the north side of town. This is Gary's older brother,Justin.

If you are ever up towards Lake Livingston - PM me - I live on the lake and fishing is my second passion. Right now is a little early for white bass/stripers - black bass are biting but the lake is pretty cloudy from the wind and rain - cat fish are slower than usual this time of year.

i have been at spring creek almost everyday catching nice 2 lbs white bass off of shrimp but i would like to come up there and do some fishing for some black bass. my friend went to huntsville last week and caught 2 ..10 lbs black bass real nice ... thats what im goin for are there any nice size ones in there??

LOL...its all good. I assure y'all Doc has MegaLove for Gary. He is an easy fella to like.

If you want fishin' info, Gary...hit SaltyTexan.com or even
2Coolfishing.com

Some of the guys at 2Cool are heavy into the P.O.I.N.T. tourney. They take challenged kids out to catch black drum. I can point (no pun intended) you to the guys that run that. They'd be proud to know y'all.

Its a great cause and both are good boards with good folks.

I think there's a joke behind this. I'm assuming he knows Gary. Well, I hope he does.
Well, I left him a negative already. Guy told ME to shut up and I have absolutely no idea who he is. I certainly hope there's a joke but I don't get the joke behind someone telling ME to shut up all the while saying the crippled kid.

I really did think that FILO gal or girl were good people and I assumed that this one was related or is associated with them. Then I saw the post count of FILOdoc. Just that it was out of the blue and strongly harsh at first glace but when someone tells ME to shut up after stating that I would wait and see if there was an inside joke? Ah. No thanks.

I agree.....

You just gotta know Doc...no harm intended. I promise you...if he had a problem with you, he would have said things to get him sent to banned camp with our boy Chato.

Docs post count is low because we all got bunched up on this newer board.

And gary was who I said was easy to like...not Doc...lol

Why am I getting dragged into this? I ain't Doc's mamma....

No no no no. I'm not dragging you into this. Not at all. I like you tons! I think you're wonderful with some of the things that you have done in the past.

Sorry for bringing up your name. It's just hard not to when he's FILOdoc and you're FILOgirl. It's why I got confused with the mannerism he presented.

Once again, sorry.

Its cool, if you only knew the story of Doc and Gary...go to the link he posted earlier. :shades:

LOL @ Red...I haven't been Rickrolled in awhile!

What the hell?!?! These pictures do not even include the tons that he's already posted here on this site.

Boy, you've got it good! I'm very very happy for you!

Bob Allen is one ultra cheap mofo. The worst of the worst up there right up there with Scottie 'No Tippin' Pippen. Not a fan of his. Parked his car at Cafe Elysse (now closed) and he stiffed us everytime. I take every opportunity to bash those who stiff us out of a living while flashing their dollars. It's cool if you don't want to tip a valet but then one should probably go and park their car themselves. Especially with how close the parking lot was from Cafe Elysse. Rant over.

Me and a buddy kept 43 whites from Pine Island yesterday....probably threw back 15 more. I live here also. Fish Rayburn mostly though.

YOU AND THE CRIPPLED KID NEED TO BOTH SHUT UP!!!!

Wow. Where did THAT come from? For what it's worth I like salt water fishing more than fresh. I didn't get a liscence yet but I might get some shrimp and head down to stand on a pier in Galveston this summer.

last time i went fishing was on a charter boat in the gulf of mexico off port aransas...........i was in the cabin sleeping off sea sickness the entire time with blade runner on the tv while i was laying down.

Over the years, Ted has been an appreciated friend for translating JoeTexanese, but I'm not sure he speaks Threetoe... :specnatz:

Yeah, I knew he was fluent in Joe Texan, so I thought I'd give it a shot. ttp's a strange puppy, but I reckon many a people think the same of me.

As far as fishing goes I'm with khari. I've never been sea sick, but the diesel fumes and boredom get to me.

Our family has owned a lake house on a private man-made lake since 1977 and I've yet to go on an offshore/deepsea fishing trip that has been better than good ole bass fishing. We've gone deep sea fishing in Cancun, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Cabo San Lucas and Alaska.

I've never been deep sea fishing but is it much different from being in a boat on the lake? Besides the fact it's saltwater versus freshwater of course.I miss the good ole days of fishing on the Fayetteville County lake by the power plant. Now that was some good bass fishing.

Yes it is, because; unless you are on the Great Lakes, lakes generally dont have 10 foot swells. That's what we had the last time I went offshore out of Port Isabelle into Mexican waters...

I tend to do more salt water fishing than fresh water, but love them both!! Trout fishing in Colorado is AWESOME!!!

I was wondering because I have been in boats on lakes that were pretty rough. I was thinking if I could handle that I could handle deep sea fishing.

Yeah 10 foot swells probably would make me sea sick.

Yep, it'd take a hurricane for our lake to reach a foot. I reckon our 10 hp johnboats might take a beatin in 10 ft swells.

Dude, I've been wanting to go stream fishing for about 5 years now. I watch the Outdoor Channel quite often and love watching trout fishing with fly rods. But no, we have to go to Hawaii and other beach places.

We used to go to Grassy Lodge in Canada to fish walleye, pike and small mouth. We'd fish walleye in the morning then the guides would cook them up for lunch on shore somewhere. I want to say it was on the English river. Awesome! Just awesome

Pretty sure those johnboats would turn into janeboats real quick if that were to happen - or at least the people operating the boats may turn into Nancy's. :pirate:

Yeah, those trips to Hawaiian beaches suck. I hate surf fishing there and catching a bunch of wahoos. :sarcasm:
PS. I'll send some pics this summer. Going to a wedding in Maui - during the middle part of July.

I've only done walleye and pike fishing once. Visited the west half of Wisconson (with the A-1 sauce girl from Iowa). She had kin in Chetek WI. which is a tiny little town on the "Chain of Lakes"... That was some fun fishing.

I went with my dad when I was 10 or so to God's Lake Narrows, Healey Lodge. About 300 miles north of Winnipeg. We caught a bunch of pike during the trip.

The biggest monster was caught by me about 30 minutes in during the first day - my dad assumed it wasn't anything special, so it was thrown back in...it was a beast.

We'll be in Kaui in late June. I wasn't planning on going until the old man said he was doing it for a graduation gift for my daughter. She wanted to go to Ireland but yet he came up with Kaui. Senile sumbitch. LOL!

Walleye's some good eatin too. Northern Pike are good for the fight, but can't say much for the taste. The Indians up there call them snakefish. Really boney. Catching my first small mouth was a blast too. I was unaware of the fight they give for their size.

No wonder she used A-1 sauce....Iowa?? Where'd ya come up with a chick from Iowa? Nevermind....I reckon I don't wanna know

Pretty fun stuff, huh? Beautiful scenery too. I actually saw a moose, bear and a bald eagle on the same day.

We'd fly into Minneapolis then drive through International Falls to Kenora, Ontario. We had to take a float plane from Kenora to the lodge.

I caught the largest Pike and small mouth on 1 trip, but beaned our Indian guide in the forehead with my weighted hook the next.
