Houston Texans License plate

Anyone here, being asked to turn in their personalized plates? My tags were due on my truck when I went to the DPS office they told me they are remaking them, and will call when they are ready. Do we have a new logo on the plates? I've had mine since 02-03.
Just curious,
By the way someone in the neighborhood, with a brand new silverado, bluish grey color got 19-10 on his Texans plate! pretty cool!:fans:

I believe the reason is every five years in Texas you have to get new license plates. The reason I know this because I had to get new plates for my daughter's car. Who knows why maybe the reflective stuff rubs off.

Is yours the generic Texans plates are the custom Texans plates?

It's the Houston Texans logo on the right w/ my name on it. They haven't called to tell me it's ready yet, but I'll let you know if it changes when I pick them up.

The 19-10 plates belong to my buddy. We tailgate together in the Blue Lot.

I just got my personalized plates a couple of months ago "KWTXN" so I guess I'm good until my next renewal.

That extra $70/yr. is expensive, but distinctive!

FYI - for all that might be considering getting them - they are assigned to YOU, not the car. When you buy those new wheels, you take 'em with you!
 
I live in KW and have the truck you described. However, my Texan plates are 19T10. I tried for 19-10 and 19 2 10 and others, but they were taken. I see where my buddy has already responded, but if my truck was the one you saw, I just wanted to chime in. I have only had my plates for about a year, so no exchanges here yet by the state.

Good to see another Realtor with love for the Texans on here. I think its hilarious when I get cowoy fans as clients and they hate my license plate. That Texans' plate brings out the worst in them.

Just a follow up. (Bull Pen was right) I received my new plates yesterday they are exactly the same except for the State of Texas is now printed in the upper right hand corner of the plates.
I was told they do this every 5 years for registration purposes. Anyways,:logo: new plates going on NEW truck!

We FILOs both got new rides and are looking into getting the plates on his truck and my SUV.
Too bad you can't fit our 1st choices on there...but we do have a back up plan...
You will know its us when/if you see one of us...

I just need to get my regular plates before I can send out for the unique ones.

Wish I could fit OrangeLotRules on one. :sarcasm:

They let me have YellowLotRules only because TXDOT knew it was true......:doot:

I've tried so many times to post a picture I'VE taken but it always say's "I exceed the limit or...Something" Tried to make it smaller and it still doesn't work.
When I get my new truck next week I'll take one again!
