LSU vs. Ohio State

But what can we say? Crpapy offensive play calling. 5 personal fouls. Special teams were on vacation. Our vaunted defense was on vacation.

The only GOOD thing is this was supposed to be a rebuilding year. With a game against USC in the fall, we can get back to the title game again with a 1 or no loss season.

The Big Ten is down right now, I hope Rich changes things up at Michigan, that's good for OSU.

On another not, I'd never been to NO before, it was a blast!

I was surprised how poor the tackling was. What the heck was up with that?

Hey man, nothing wrong with good spirited fun. However, as I saw several LSU fans learn the hard way, we can tolerate having "tiger bait" yelled in our ears (literally, people would get a foot from your ear and start yelling - it did get annoying after a few days) all weekend, but doing it after we lost the game was NOT a wise idea.

We avoided Bourbon Street Monday night - I can only imagine how many fights there were. Instead we went to the player's hotel and wallowed.

Sorry that you had to endure a lot of the jackarse's yelling "tiger bait" right in your ear. As a tiger fan, I hate to hear that we had some folks acting like a bunch of 'tards.

So said, I hope you guys had a good time and that the Louisiana hospitality met your expectations.

I really thought that you guys were going to pwn us after that 10-0 start. Our defense had looked really, really shaky a few times this season and I wasn't going to be surprised if the game turned into Ohio State just smacking us around on offense. You guys should be encouraged, though, because that appears to be a really talented young team. I wouldn't be surprised to see y'all back there next year.

It was only a small minority. Overall LSU fans were very friendly.

And the city of NO, well, we've all decided we're going to start going once a year. I thought folks in Houston were friendly, but WOW, the city of NO is about the most hospitable place I have ever been.

Glad to hear that on both counts!

I'd also encourage you to check out some of the parts of South Louisiana just west of NOLA such as parts of acadian country (Lafayette, etc.) Scads of history and a taste of what Louisiana is really all about.
