Texans vs Titans: Game Day Thread

The only thing helping us today is the the Titan offense isn't playing that well either.

True, but you can't argue with what he has done since he's been with the team. He's someone that should be held onto.

At least Dayne is playing, and not hurt :)

DD rocked while he could still play. I wonder how this Schaub-led team would have looked with DD in the backfield.

My comment was in reference to the following statement:
"He is the most reliable back that this team has ever had."

Completely not true. He might be the second best - but a healthy DD/W would run circles around Dayne.

Missed that field goal! Good job!

At least we are ahead at the half...So far, so good. I'm going to go breathe for a minute.

I guess the question would be "Define Reliable"? Health-wise, fumble-wise, etc.

I didn't say that Dayne was the "best" back that we've ever had. With that said, has Ron Dayne ever been injured? That fumble that he had in the first quarter today was his first 200 and some odd games. He is always good for 3-5 yards, and has the potential to bust a long one.

On the whole, I would say that Davis/Williams was a better RB and I would love to have him back. However, I would say that we have been able to count on Dayne more than we could Davis/Williams.

But the problem with DD/W, was that we didn't see him healthy enough to be considered reliable.
