front row bull pen

this reminds me of last year when the eagles released 1500 standing room only tickets to all the regular season games. RazorGator had them for sale before the eagles even released them.

let me tell you there was a lot of **** raised over it. (i was happy i got my 4 the day they went on sale).
 
There are other games available. You can buy (2) front row Bull Pen Titans tickets for $340.00.

What are the odds that a Texan's fan will buy them at that price?

As much as we work to build the Homefield Advantage in the Bull Pen, it doesn't take much to have our work minimalized in instances like these.

You know Titan fan will be there in the front row with a VY jersey for the world to see.

I really might think about buying yhem if I can save up. I always wanted to sit in the bullpen(especailly 1st row)!

reference is, she has front row tickets in the bullpen at the last game I attended. Not sure if she had them last game was home sick. I figured she may have went on stubhub or something and bought tickets to those seats or maybe they texans gave them to her. I'm not sure.??? :?
 
Let's not get off track here. I don't have a problem with Jacoby's mom or any other Texans fan sitting there.

The problem I have is that those seats have the potentiallity to be filled with an out of town fan because they don't have as many resources to get tickets. When they get to the Bull Pen, they won't like the display of the jerseys that we do and will be bothered by our traditions.

It doesn't give the impression of a rowdy Texans section with a fan from the other team right on the front row, especially on TV or in pictures.

I agree with you there. I will not be able to attend the Titans game so I gave the tickets to my boss. He told me his son is a huge Texans fan and is very excited about going.
 
I personally think that you all are getting all upset over nothing. To me the Bullpen is very overated. I would rather have sideline seats than endzone seats anyday. As far as selling seats to a out of town fan...whats wrong with that. It was a Carolina Panthers fan that sold me some nice seats for the game. If a person can go on stubhub or ebay and make a nice buck off of some game tickets, who can say anything after all, its the american way. And again I will say it..."THE BULLPEN IS VERY OVERATED". Sitting in the bullpen makes you watch a lot of the big screen...why not just stay at home and watch tv.:fans:
 
$335 for a front row bullpen ticket..lol...wouldn't give 125 for two endzone seats. I do hope the person selling them gets what they ask...its the american way. lol:whip:

Your problem is that you don't sit in the Bull Pen.

If it were so over-rated, why are so many wanting to get the tickets?
 
I think endzone seats rock. I was on the opposite side of the Bullpen, in the corner (sec 139) for the colts game.....and they were great seats. I had two of my four season tickets to the Longhorns taken away from the construction and they were endzone seats and were awesome. There is nothing like it when your team is coming to score on your end of the field....it's awesome.

And on top of all that, the Bullpen rocks...it's full of some our most fiercly loyal fans.

I think thats what people are trying to get across. It has nothing to do with money. They just don't want the illusion that fans other than Houston fans dominate this area. Its called the Bullpen for a reason.

nah, this is not the way I make a honest buck. My seats are used by nieces and nephews. If any of you loyal fans ever take a road trip I want to see how you get your seats. I just think that if opposing teams fans want to pay big bucks for tickets no matter where they are and they have a seller, that is their business not anyone elses. Just mind your own business.

Opposing fans selling seats to Texans fans = good.
Texans fans selling seats to opposing fans = bad.
Texans fans selling seats to other Texans fans that couldn't otherwise go to the game = doubleplus good.


There's enough Texans fans willing to purchase seats from other Texans fans. I know, I buy extra tickets all the time on behalf of friends.

And, BTW, I've sat all over the stadium. Not really a bad seat in the house except for the press box unless you like vertigo. Each place in the stadium has its good points and not so good points.

The Bull Pen is a fun place to watch the game, as a Texan fan. The best energy in the stadium. I would think it would be unpleasant for an opposing fan.

You're the one who made the negative remarks about the Bullpen, SOOOOO I feel sure YOU are the one who needs to mind his own business.

Members of the BP have NO control over who fellow members, corporations, the TEXANS, or ticket brokers sell their tickets too. We were approached by the TEXANS the very first year to try to make our FAN ZONE the best in the NFL. HARD TO DO when you don't have support from the FO. There will always be opposing teams fans in the Bullpen, I have no problem with that. What I do have a problem with is PSLs on the front row being owned by people who don't give a crap about the Bullpen. Those seats should be owned by DIEHARDS who would eat the cost of the ticket before they would sell to fans from an opposing team. I would do just about anything to be able to own those seats, and I can assure you NO ONE other than a Texan fan would STAND there.

But I have to say it can get pain peelingly loud if the other team is trying to score in the Bull Pen endzone. I really hate when we are giving the other team the business over there, and then they go to the other side of the field and score.

Again I say, it is none of your business who people want to sell their tickets too. Some people bought PSLs to make a buck off of, and some bought them because they are diehard fans. I think you guys are getting up in arms about nothing. Just go to the games and enjoy it and support the team.... don't worry about some fan from Tenn that paid big bucks to get closer to the field.

You have NO idea what you are talking about. You are not a diehard fan who sits in the Bullpen so you do NOT know the passion of the fans in that area. I'm saying the Texans want US to help build a fanitical fan zone but we don't always have the support of the Texans. Last year during the Titan game I came very close to getting evicted from the stadium simply because I stood in the isle and refused to allow two Titan fans to go stand by the rail. If TEXAN fans are not allowed to stand there, then I'll be damned if a Titan fan will stand there. Well guess what??! The _____ "yellow shirt" made me move so the Titan fans could watch their team make a TD. I was NOT going to give up easily. After some unpleasant exchange of words SOMEONE pulled me back and told me to just leave it alone or I would go to Reliant jail. To this day I am sorry I gave up. It will NEVER happen again!! BTW: Those two Titan fans DID NOT have seats in the Bullpen. They just felt they could waltz into our fan zone and do as they please, and we let them get by with it because some "security" guy working for Reliant, is/was a VY jock sniffer.

If they want to pay big bucks to sit there, then so be it!! I just wish I had the opportunity to BUY those PSLs so I could make damn sure a Texan fan was sitting there!!!

hobie has already called you out on this little statement. It appears you are the one that needs to get a life. Just so you know you attack certain people on here and you are basically attacking the entire board.

Mr. 6 Seats, where exactly are your seats? You do not have a problem with someone buying PSLs jut to make a profit? Well I do have a problem with it. These are not individuals that do this, this is a company who has PSLs in most of the stadiums just to sell. There are plenty of fans who would like to have those seats to use personnaly. That is the whole damn problem.

I think it is kinda crappy in my opinion. Going to stop here before I say something I will regret.

U did have the opportunity to buy PSLs. And they should have thrown you ouf if you were confronting other fans whether they are Texans fans or whatever. Leave all the confrontations to the players on field, then watch them hug and congratulate each other on a good game afterwards. Again I don't think that the bullpen fans are the only ones in stadium with passion for our team. I don't come to the games to get into confrontations...remember, just because you pay for a seat doesn't mean you run anything.

Hobie come on, I'm just giving my take on the subject and I don't know any of these people and care not to. I have met Texan Joe as he bawled like a baby after VY ran it in on us last year. I was disappointed too, but lets be real and remember this is still just a game that we attend for fun. And guess what? When the game was over Texan Joe was not in the bullpen seats.

This buying of seats for a profit is going on in every sport in the country. I don't think the Texans have a problem with it and thats all that matters. When we bought our PSLs they mentioned that it might not be a good idea to buy as an investment. Anyone who bought them as an investment must have bought them for a long term investment because they have a lot of catching up to do.
 
OK I am done with this thread. You guys go to the game this weekend and just watch the game and not the opposing fans sitting in your sections. Seriously do you freakin read what people write or are you just trying to be a jerk?

I said a lot of the tickets now being sold were bought by a company and all they do is buy PSLs and resell them. So, yes long term investment. Please read what the hell people type.
