Texans versus Panthers: Gameday thread

Damn it you have to play four full quarters not 3 3/4. We have lost way to many games at the end in the last few years to allow sloopy play like this!
 
I'm not trying to rip a guy just to do it but my wife and I couldn't kelp but laugh when they'd show Carr. That queer Dorthy Hamil haircut and those Mickey Mouse gloves. It is almost too much.

seems to be a trend with him. "just short" in the game that really mattered last season, and just short again today.

Wow. Just wow. Except for that last Smith touchdown, the defense couldn't have had a better day. If we keep this up, we actually will be in the playoffs this year. We certainly have the schedule for it.
 
WAY TO GO TEXANS!!!!!!!!!

I am especially proud of our team today. DEFENSE stepped up...O-LINE kicked butt...AJ was his usual awesome self and SCHAUB looked fantastic!!! SPECIAL TEAMS was great too!!!

WOW! Great game!!!! They let up at the end, but hopefully that was due to trying to keep folks from getting injured and not just putting a halt to hard playing.

According to the NFL network, 66 point something % of the teams that start the season 2-0 go to the Playoffs. A possibility - slim, but a possibility nonetheless, if Andre is ok. Andre has to be ok.

don't hate on the fans for hating bad football. We have some good football so far this year and nobody is saying we suck today...why cry about the fans not liking rotten ball in the first few years?
 
No crying here partner, and no hate, I asked a legitimate question...tell me why this isn't a legit football team...you took the "Negative Nancy" comment personally....sorry if it offended.....surely you got some constructive criticism instead of worrying about my poke at ya :)

I don't know that I am negative cause I think we can play with anyone, BUT I sure as hell dont want to spot the Colts 14 points. We need to protect the ball, quit the stupid penalties, and play four full quarter and not give up the big play in garbage time until we can assure ourselves wins with a lead.
 
Great way for the Texans to bounce back from an early defecit. The defense looks really solid. Although Faggins is definately a nickle corner & the sooner we get a starting quality CB to play opposite Dunta the better. It got a little sloppy late, but overall I'm impressed with the effort today. I'm just hoping AJ isn't banged up too bad. Hopefully he'll be 100% for Indy.
 
You still ain't answering my question, I look for yours, and others expert insight...You said "In a way"...so tell me, why isn't this a legit football team? I've heard now for so many months from the ESPN's how badly we stink, many posters here, and elsewhere take the stance. So now that we've seemed to turn the corner, what part of the corner still needs to be rounded? Will a win over Indy be the last hurdle to make folks become optimistic? :)

wtf? Where did I say that we aren't a legit team? I just comment on the game as I see it. We aren't a good team till we prove we are a good team. Just saying we are good doesn't make us good. Playing and beating the Chiefs and the Panthers is a good start in proving we have a good team. Don't straw man me.
 
I wish I knew what a straw man was...I think you called me a name...Meany :) Apparently I can't read...."In a way" tells me you aren't satisfied, thus I wanna know why... :)
