2007 NFL Draft Day One Thread

If they go with Quinn. We would have BQ, Manning and Young in our division. Thank the lord we are stacking up on defense.

Whatever happened to Alan Branch??
Here is Alan Branch

well I was wrong once now on this draft and what i mean by once is once i started picking who would go where I have been wrong multiple times.

:gun:

Interesting. After 17 picks still on the board: Leon Hall, Brady Quinn, Alan Branch, Olsen,Bowe and Meachem all remain.

Cincinnati will pick whoever has the longest rap sheet.

3:20 p.m.: Did the Packers reach? The Packers fan to my right is not inspired by the choice of Tennessee DT Justin Harrell at No. 16. Some of us thought Green Bay might go with another UT player, WR Robert Meachem. My former officemate and draft genius Rick Gosselin of The Dallas Morning News had Harrell going No. 27 to the Saints. McShay and Kiper both had him going at No. 23. So far, I think fans of the Browns, Dolphins and Packers have the biggest gripe.

I don't think the Browns fans need gripe they got an awesome LT, one of the top 3 talents in the draft.

3:36 p.m.: Jerry Jones said last week that the Cowboys had their quarterback of the future in Tony Romo, but what will he do if Quinn's still there at No. 22? Just talked to someone at Valley Ranch who said I shouldn't even worry about it. They're not taking a quarterback. The Cowboys could possibly convince the Chiefs to swap picks with them. The Chiefs could certainly use a quarterback. I'll keep you posted.

My bro works with them now and is at the draft party but no word from him. I doubt QB too. I think one of the WRs was their first choice but Meachem will probably be gone. They got alot of holes filled with FA so they can pick up picks.

Well with Griffin going, Meachem still has a shot with them.

I hope the Bears move up.

Griffin...yet another reach, or is Bud trying to stick it to Houston by taking UT palyers from here on out in the 1st.

Who's falling more Quinn or the WRs?
