Falcons and Texans jockeying for Browns' pick
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that both the Atlanta Falcons and Houston Texans are interested in the Browns third overall draft choice. The Falcons want Calvin Johnson and the Texans are after Adrian Peterson.

Apparently, the Browns would want Matt Schaub, the 10th pick overall, and a first rounder in 2008 from the Falcons. The Texans have Carr, the 8th pick overall, and additional picks to offer.
 
Interesting. However I think Atlanta would be paying a hefty price by trading Schaub AND two first round picks.

I doubt the Texans would move up. I guess I can see them trading Carr but whatelse? And I especially cannot see them moving up for Peterson, if he were there at #8 then yes, but to move up. No, IMO. If, for the sake of argument, they did move up then it would presumably be for Johnson or Quinn. Thomas would be excellent as well but I am not convinced they want a tackle in the 1st round. Whatever the case, it certainly makes for an interesting discussion.
 
Good post but I think that if they move up im not sure it would be that high, And I doubt they would get AP I would look for them to get BQ. Kubes really likes this guy and if in fact they do take the overall third then they will gice them Carr so that means we would have to get BQ IMO.
 
Ahh this is to easy.... Atlanta and Houston swap Carr and Schaub and 1st RD picks. Atlanta gets Houston's 3rd RD pick. Atlanta and Cleveland swap 1st RD picks, plus Cleveland gets Carr and Atlanta's 2nd RD pick and Houston's 3rd RD pick. VOILA!
