Satele is right up there with Kalil in terms of technique and upside. I'd go with him. Blalock might be around in the 3rd...MIGHT. it'd be a tough decision between he and Satele.

Blalock should be long gone before the 3rd Rd.

I would love to see the Texans draft 3 consecutive OLinemen. Perhaps, they can trade down and still get Levi Brown and an extra pick, maybe 3rd Rd, then pick Satele in the 2nd Rd and a G in the 3rd Rd.

I've thought about Blablock as a guard to take Chester Pitts' spot, then move him to LT, but I don't know how open Kubiak is to that idea.

McKinney is our best Center so far, Flannagan is our newest... but he's old. I would really like to see a Center who could at least compete for the job, and possibly start(because I have a feeling Kubiak is going to carry 7 or 8 OLmen on game day). Someone who should definitely be ready by 2008, with little to no drop-off from whatever we get in 2007.

Why don't people like Drew Hodgdon? He seems pretty capable when he does play.

Not really.... he was lost on pass pro, couldn't hold a block, and couldn't move people in run blocking.

I thought I liked him in '05, and was itching to see him in '06, but the only difference between him & Flanagan was that the defensive player didn't even slow down to get through Flanagan. for Hogdon, they at least needed an extra half a second to get to the QB.

We need a center.
