At this point, I dont see how Weddle makes it out of the first 45 picks. No way he lasts til the 3rd.

We'll have to see how he does at the combine and what the scouts reactions are.

He's a big time playmaker but he looks to be at least a step slower than the elite safeties in this draft.

well if he is a step slower thats how he makes it to the 3rd.....plus there are sooo many db's that are great in this draft...so if he isnt there than someone else that shouldnt be will be....

Agreed! Most mocks I've seen have him going in the 2nd round, and some I've seen even have him going in the bottom of the 1st round. I haven't seen any yet that have him in the 3rd round. He would be an absolute steal there IMO! It's a long way to draft day and alot can happen between now and then

I still would rather go with O-line in the 2nd if Staley, Ugoh, or Kalil are still on the board, but other than that, I think it was a good Texans mock and would be happy if it went down that way. JMHO!

there are a bunch of DB's in this draft though, so that could really factor in, as there are at least 4 safties rated higher (landry, nelson, griffin and merriwether)
