Sam Baker per Scott Wright

Haven't heard this name mentioned yet, but that who this site feels we will take as of 12/6/06. (So he's a little late updating) LT from USC

This franchise has literally been looking for a left tackle since day one when they rolled the dice on an injured Tony Boselli in the expansion draft. Despite numerous attempts to find a long-term solution the position is still a major problem and while they were hoping Charles Spencer might be the answer he has missed most of his rookie season with an injury and is probably better suited for right tackle or guard at the pro level. Arguably the best player on what have been some very talented Trojan offensive lines, Baker is the premier left tackle prospect in the junior class and he would more than likely be a very high pick should he opt to enter the draft.

I'd have to agree. Green Bay will not pass on Peterson after losing Ahman Green this offseason and I don't think Sam Baker is entering the draft this year IIRC.

yeah, that's what I'm sayin' as of 12/6/06... so it's out of date within a month - many things have happened since then.

Just I don't recall Sam Baker being mentioned much around here, that's all. Maybe because of what Texanfan881 noted above.
