Game 16 Thread: Browns @ Texans

Halftime Draft status report:

Good news:
NE up by 9 points on Tennessee, and seem to be dominating
KC up by 10 on Jax - huge game for draft status

Neutral news:
Detroit at least making a game of the Dallas situation
TB at least competitive with Seattle

Bad news:
Minnesota looks like it's getting taken down by St Louis.

Projected pick - Houston win, #8
Projected pick - Houston loss, #5

The fans have every right to complain, we show more emotion on one sunday than this team has shown in 5 years.

The Texans need to man up and actually earn the checks they have been cashing in for the past 5 years. Its pretty obvious they weren't thinking about football this week.

Maybe Dayne just overslept and will show up for the second half. Actually I hope Kubiak was giving Carr his last chance to do something and he will run Dayne in the second half. Thats it, thats my plan........

Ron Dayne cannot play, according to Kubiak, because of his ankle from last week. Sounds goofy to me, but that's what he said.

Oh, and that kind of sucks, by the way, but Taylor does have almost 6 yds. a carry so far.

I had no idea Dayne was out, that sucks. So our best chance is they find some sort of emotion at halftime.

Beat me to it but I beg to differ a little bit. I don't think we'll make up the SOS diffeential with SF, although we might given the outlook for Tenn and Jax losses. I still say that if we win, we'll pick 9th. And I agree, if we lose we'll probably pick 5th. So at what point during this debacle do we start pulling for the higher draft pick??

If Taylor can run like this on a consistent basis next year, and not cough up the ball, then the Texans can look elsewhere in the draft.
