Badboy final [maybe] mock 2025

I’d love it to turn out that way. But I don’t see Higgins making it to 58. Grant to 89 could happen but seems redundant with Conerly. Would rather a more pure interior OL if you double dip there.

I assume Benjamin Martinez is the Miami back Damien Martinez? If so, don’t think he makes it to 166 but again i’d love to see it.

Not expecting a Dez Watson addition with Collins drafted. Really either way, just not a DeMeco DL.

If Denver selects Golden in round one, that allows Higgins to fall even further in round two.
Tankathon.com has Buffalo taking Collins at 56 but if not, no one else takes a defensive tackle until after us. I agree that's a long shot but I think it can happen.

We need a monster run stopper in the middle with a motor that does not stop until he physically exhausts. That is Watson and he will do better when he sheds 50 lb year one and then maybe another 50. He does not have to be a three down guy on our defense. I think Ryan's recognizes that but I do agree that it's another long shot.

I’ll give it a C+. I don’t like Conerlypersonally. He also won’t play much as a rookie. You also drafted two tackles and no guards. We need interior line,an…yet you draft two tackles. Umm …what?

Higgins is a good choice if he lasts. I’m not as high on Collins as some, but he does add value as a legit run stopper and has real upside so I’m ok with that choice. These two are your best choices.

I don’t get Grant after Conerly. I’m not well versed on Martinez but like the position. Last two guys are not on my radar, but positions are good.

Many see Grant at left guard as he adapts to NFL. He is very football intelligent and extremely quick to redirect. I think he handles his opponents with technique as he builds his core strength that all offensive lineman need to do. I do see him as a future left tackle but as a pick 89, he's just too good to pass up.

Caserio doesn't draft small school guys.

He has great technique against a bunch of future accountants. Lets see how he does against the best of the best. Where did you read that he's a smart player? I'm not saying he's not, but I haven't read this anywhere and being honest haven't seen tape on him. Just read a few writeups.

Caserio HASN'T drafted small school. I said he was very football intelligent and that is verified by:
"Found" football as a junior in high school giving up wrestling. With that in mind, the following occurred:
" college football career blossomed into one of the most decorated in FCS offensive line history... his technical refinement became evident in only one sack in his senior season with a total of two over his 3 years in college.
Consensus all American first team honors as a Senior and was the first one invited to the senior bowl. He dominated at the FCS level.
4th ranked Rushing attack [W&M ranked third his junior season and thirteenth his soph].
His senior season led to a finalist in the coveted Walter Payton award which is rare for an offensive lineman. His technical proficiency translated to Elite metrics. Consistently grading above 90% with some amazing pancake blocks.

Nasty Zone blocker with ability to disengage and then use surgical blocking on linebackers with uncanny timing on blocking. Showing exceptional mental clarity when identifying and transferring assignments on the fly.."

That's the intelligence.

The physical:

" punishing grip strength is like trying to remove from quicksand..
Exceptional lateral quickness and fluidity.
Elite competitive demeanor causes him to run through Defender with violence and a genuine Mean Streak."

Compares 92% to Carl Mauch from
Drum roll North Dakota State.

78% Rashawn Slater Drum roll
Northwestern.
Ranking for
Pass blocking 98%
Run blocking 98%

Didn’t realize he was from Churchland HS in Suffolk, VA. They were next door and just a neighborhood over….otherwise our son would’ve gone to Churchland instead of Nensemond River.

Anyhow, Grant could be a solid LT if the team drafting him doesn’t try to rush him into starting.

Outside of LG Jackson, I think any LT the Texans draft is going to need a developmental season. If Grant was still on the board in RD3, this could be a good pick.
