Best Texans receivers EVER!!!

Give me Collins over Nuk, his numbers were inflated by his pervert buddy and he only had one season as good as he did with the Texans after he exited Kirby. Colins is a threat to score every time he has the ball in his hands. (Run after catch) Hopkins not so much.

Collins is a weapon and and reminds me so much of a young AJ. The only WR that might be better than Collins is Chase IMHO

Oof. I love Nico. And for anyone to rank Walter over Nico (still laughing about that one) is hilarious. But jettas is better than Nico and I'd even put lamb neck and neck. And Nuk was great for several years so longevity matters too

He only put up those numbers because the pervert kept force feeding Hopkins the ball. Stroud doesn't force feed the ball to Nico.

Justin Jefferson
That's what I thought, just wanted to make sure..

That said, since the start of 2023 (Nico's arrival)..

Jefferson - 23 games played, 143 catches, 2244 yards, 15.7 ypc, 12 tds, 69% catch rate, 10.8 yards per target

Collins - 23 games played, 129 catches, 2129 yards, 16.5 ypc, 12 tds, 71.3% catch rate, 11.8 yards per target

They've been pretty neck and neck since Nico had a better than sh*t QB.

I agree I see it the same

Don't be so serious, he probably wasn't.

Agreed. Too early for me to put nico ahead of dhop. DHOP jump ball was elite and he did it more than one year

Justin Jefferson is a beast

Without his pervert buddy Hopkins was an above avg WR. Not the great WR many on here think he was.

Dhop put up numbers with a qb in your words was never a good.
Made the all pro teams 5 times, not bad for an above avg WR.
I said Derrick was a slightly above avg QB and Hopkins was a slightly above avg WR. Together they both made each other appear like they were better than they really were. What's funny is there were many on this MB that said if Derrick played for Reid and Mahomes played for BOB the results would be flipped.

I also remember a time whem most on this MB said Derrick was a better QB than Allen. LMAO, thing is whether some want to admit this or not BOB made Derrick look better than he really was.

Derrick did look better with Bob that's for sure and now he's straight up trash.

As for dhop....no way is he just a above average WR. He put up numbers in arizona until the injury bug hit him.

Dhop > nico......for now

For one yr when he was getting most of the targets an the desert.

Watching Nico play i think he's absolutely a better WR than Hopkins. I don't know if he's going to have the numbers Hop put up, but if i were playing a pick up game after choosing my QB I'm picking Nico over Hopkins.

Nuk was rock solid reliable. Nico has yet to make it thorough a season. That plays a huge role in my eval.

Nuk also had the better hands, although Nico has great hands too. But Nuks hands were super elite.

Nico has more YAC ability, more big play ability, faster guy, with elite size/speed ratio. And he Can get more separation.. But Nuk didn’t need separation. He could high point and grab anything close. His catch radius was elite.

It’s close but as of today, Nuk is the better Texan WR. Longer span of great seasons, and always on the field.

Nico can catch him, but he needs to string a couple of healthy seasons together and put up big numbers.

Today - Nuk. Two years from now? Open question.

Agreed. Ppl need to take their hater glasses off. Nuk game reminds me of larry Fitzgerald.

Nico has plenty of time to surpass him but who knows

Nuk has had the better career so far, yes. Nico might not ever pass him, sure.

But Nico is the better receiver.

What you mean? Dhop targets was right in line with the rest of the WR1 in the league. A quick google search will show you that
I'm saying the pervert made the baby daddy look better than he really was. You disagree with me and that's fine. I'm moving on.

I think you guys are forgetting how good a young Nuk was especially with the Broken Schaub, Shitzpatrick, Hoyer the Horrible, and Brock Azzweiler
No. I'm not forgetting. I never liked his game until he made a point to increase his YAC.

You weren't a fan of his triple digit catches, his double digit TDs, his 1000+ yards he consistently produced? Interesting..

Or is it conversely the way he left the team that is causing the recency bias... Hmm.

Order Nuk and Nico however you want, they were both top end WR1s while here. I enjoyed watching Nuk play while he was here, but those days are done.

I am enjoying watching Nico now and the best is yet to come imo… Looking forward to watching Nico continue creating highlights for the Texans.

Tyreek Hill is a great WR. I don't care for his game either.

Yeah I don't really like a future HOFers game either, he should be better dagnab it!
That's not what I'm saying. We've all got our preferences. Some people like Running QBs some people like shifty RBs. There are people out there that will never list Emit Smith as a "great" RB because he doesn't run like Dickerson, Campbell, or Okoye.

Preferences wasn't the question though. The question was who was better, not who I like more lol

Okoye? LOL. Dude was a punishing runner but he was -not- a “great” in any way whatsoever with only two 1000 yard seasons… and even THOSE were marred with injuries. Dickerson and Campbell ran like clockwork every year until they broke down. Eff Dallas but Emmitt was definitely a “great”.

It's the fact that he was a POS and that if a WR gets enough targets they naturally will catch 100 balls.

Anyways, I'm so happy that the Clemson trash has been taken out down on Kirby.

Ahhhh and there's the correct answer.... Bravo on being honest Steel, I knew I could count on ya

Question: if Nico goes out the same way when his contract is finished in a few/several years, will you folks treat him the same way?

By going out the same way, if you mean not practicing and always crying about a new contract as well as bringing his babies mamma's to practice then I doubt Nico goes out that way.

I never thought Hopkins was a top 5 WR during his best of times and thought he was overpaid. One things for sure he's a POS.
