No question. But who's #2 & #3

I know Hopkins has a longer history & therefore more stats & his availability was a lot more consistent. But who would you rather watch?

Hopkins was always making great catches, no such thing as a 50/50 ball if he was the target. Now, I never liked him as a person, but I loved watch him tap them toes.

Still, I like nothing more than watching the big fella (Nico) get WTF open then run away from defenders. What can i say? I'm a YAC man.

So for me:

1. Andre
2. Nico
3. DeAndre (not Carter)
4. OD
5. Will

I was having a discussion right when Nico scored the TD he got injured on earlier in the season, who in the league is better than Nico and if you can name one what do they do better?

Since his injury, he’s taken some time to get back into his stride, and that has coincided with the offence struggling mightily over that stretch. But he was really balling earlier in the season, and if Sunday is anything to go by, he’s getting back up there again now.

  1. Johnson (No explanation needed)
  2. Hopkins
  3. Collins (To overtake Hopkins, he has to play longer and be as productive)
  4. Fuller (After working on his hands, he really was productive. I expected a Desean Jackson type career. Injuries and PED derailed his career).

Hopkins - best hands out the bunch & clutch
Dre - hof, enuff said
Nico - DAWG (woof woof)

Fuller - was cool, body frame makes me worry about tank dell durability

Hate to say it but Cooks had a nice little run here. At the time he was the only Texan not named Johnson or Hopkins to ever have a 1,000 yard season, and is still just the 3rd to have multiple 1,000 yard seasons. Barring anything horrible, Nico will join that list in a couple of weeks or so.

My top 5 would be;
1) AJ
2) Nuk
3) OD
4) Walter
5) gotta put Cooks there ... For now. Nico should quickly bump him off and move up the list.

Nico is great and if he stays healthy I could see him him rivaling Nuk. But Nuk was a 1st team all pro x3…and he didn’t miss games when he was here like Nico does.
I agree with this post and your earlier one saying AJ then Hopkins. I thoroughly enjoy Collins but he is not in the same league as those other two.. at least for now. He could Eclipse both in his career if he stays healthy and continues with an accurate CJ Stroud.

Edit: none of the three had the touchdowns annually that I wanted.

Absolutely but Nuk’s -always- healthy. I prefer Nico’s style over Nuk’s though. YAC is the name of his game.
Exactly. Health is part of the equation and Nuk was always there..& he put up numbers in much the same way AJ was able to ….which was with largely bad QBs. AJ/Nuk with CJ in their primes would’ve been insane.

Cecil Shorts was another WR I thought was going to be productive in the BOB ED system and only lasted one year. A couple of years ago, he was on a 610 call and he mentioned BOB, would show them tape on how Wes Welker or Edelman would run their routes on a given play. The WRs were thinking, "none of us is Edelman or Welker or have their short area, lateral quickness". While BOB was saying this play works if you run it like them.

Pickings are slim. This thread quickly went from the best Texans WRs to the most mediocre.

Best ability is definitely availability. Doesn't matter if you're the GOAT if you keep missing time over and over again and not able to be on the field.
I remember people would gripe about him not practicing during the week, but he always showed up on Sundays..His hands were like catcher's mitts.

This might be the most accurate typo ever..

No Devier Posey or Derrick Armstrong?

Give me Collins over Nuk, his numbers were inflated by his pervert buddy and he only had one season as good as he did with the Texans after he exited Kirby. Colins is a threat to score every time he has the ball in his hands. (Run after catch) Hopkins not so much.

Collins is a weapon and and reminds me so much of a young AJ. The only WR that might be better than Collins is Chase IMHO
