Watson cant play football

I don't know about that. I doubt he thought he was going to be able to escape the scrutiny of what his baggage brought him with any team. But like Kobe's situation, if he got somewhere and was able to win, he might've been able to get past it quicker. His dumbass chose the wrong organization to go to try and win though......Cleveland is allergic to winning anything lol.
His decision for Cleveland showed that money was always more important than winning.

How Deshaun Watson became a football calamity in Cleveland

The Browns’ desperate trade for Deshaun Watson was supposed to at least yield an on-field payoff. Instead, he’s been a below-average starting quarterback.

Last weekend, on another Sunday in repose after a lifetime coaching football, Carl Smith wore a Cleveland Browns hat. Smith oversaw Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson not long ago as the Houston Texans’ quarterbacks coach, in the years when Watson played football as well as almost anybody on Earth. Smith still roots for Watson to rediscover his old form, and he cannot fathom the current state of his old pupil’s performance.

The real question is on the day the Texans had a nice win, why are they spending more time on Watson than on the Texans win? I see some posters in here are routinely posting more about Watson than they do about Stroud. The obsession is flat out weird. To each his own. Carry on folks. LMAO.
Well you stopped by to post. I get the motive. Rubbernecking. There is this bad accident with a wrecked expensive sports car and several victims lying around. Only one standing is the confused driver. There are grass fires smoldering, put out by firemen wearing expensive business suits and carrying briefcases. Yet other fires keep popping up. Debris lying around speaks of the carelessness and selfish unconcern that caused this wreck. The police can’t, won’t do anything about it. It’s just this surreal scene of carnage that makes people slow down and think of their own life.

Despite media in Cleveland like Mary Cabot repeatedly writing the Browns players are solidly behind Watson, all of my Cleveland contacts are saying that most of the Browns locker room wishes someone would make Watson "disappear" but are fearful of making their feelings public.....................since the person that is most responsible for his continued presence is the same person who signs their checks!

Actually, considering the win, the Texans game day thread was slow and I entered the NFL Game Day thread to see what was going on and stumbled upon this mess. That was the only reason I even posted a response.

You still chose to read and respond. No one forced you.

Seems the people around Watson are also capable of violence/intimidation/threats.

Watson has wayyyy too much **** in his head to concentrate on football.
I doubt he will be any good until all this self inflicted garbage is behind him and that may be years.
His arm is not the same. The damage was worse than reported. Also, he knows a lot of his cases are out there and will come out. Then you factor in that Bill O’Brien made him look better than what he was by throwing from the pocket and taking less hits.

First article I have seen that mentions something about his arm specifically

CBS evidently never read my early posts! :chef: I always believed that the combination of his rotator cuff tear, glenoid shoulder joint fracture, shoulder labrum tear and shoulder joint articular cartilage damage would be a long-term detrimental issue.

These are the problems........................The football is connected to the hand bones, the hand bones are connected to the wrist bones, the wrist bones are connected to the elbow bones, the elbow bones are connected to the shoulder bones, the shoulder bones.........................and all those are connected to the brain...............something that seems to have further complicated this situation.......................

Mhmmm. Other teams know his arm issues as well. That’s why he got so upset about the legal hit near the out of bounds line yesterday.
