One of the owners of the small company that created the S2 basically admitted recently that CJ’s leaked score was accurate. It was a non-denial word salad…we don’t agree with scores being leaked…it’s out of context…Yada yada yada. When pressed, well we don’t publicly release scores but we don’t agree with the leak.
Yes the 18% score was accurate.What wasn’t accurate is thinking that a test that is a glorified video game after a very long day of travel has anything to do with your football acumen on an actual field of play. The Panthers got played by a video game when you think about it. Tepper went up against Astroids from a 1988 Atari and lost.

No doubt but CJ has made at least three or four different receivers/TE look like All Pro’s at times throughout most of his games. Makes one wonder what a WR draft strategy will look like going forward for the Texans.
He was there for the taking.

It would have been awesome but you can't draft every great player in the same draft. Plus no one knew he would be this good just like no one knew Shroud would be this good. I'm hoping they can either draft a stud WR or snag some in FA. There are several pretty good ones coming up assuming they don't get tagged or resigned but we have to money and now we can finally take advantage of no income tax because players want to play for DeMeco and WRs love a QB that makes them look as good as Shroud makes guys look. Those 3 things actually make Houston a desired destination for players.

Just looking at their records Hutchinson actually has the edge in college records so the pick at the time made sense. Again no one knew Nacua would be that good.

This is worth the watch.
Stroud gives me the same sense of JJ Watt character. At first people were is disbelief how great of character JJ has. Then after a while it was like yeah he is just an awesome human.
I get the same feeling about Stroud. Just an awesome human.
It’s unbelievable that the football gods would bless us with both.

I don’t think Dre was in the category of being someone of over the top character like the other two. Dre was just humble and soft spoken
Plus - social media wasn’t as prevalent when Dre came in the league compared to when Watt and Stroud. It really didn’t give us the insight to the personal life of AJ.
Watt and now Stroud are more vocal and are thrust into the spotlight in a way Dre never was. Social media and the marketing that comes with it is a big part of that.
Said nobody about the Clemson trash that preceded Stroud/WA. This generations Watt/AJ.

I was saying Stroud and Watt are over the top. In a different category than AJ. AJ is an awesome person. Stroud and Watt are overtop. And like I said - social media can play a huge role in that.

I may be missing what's 'over the top' about CJ. He does have the justice reform stuff, and he's great in press conferences.

JJ was/is certainly 'over the top'. I don't see CJ and AJ any differently other than Stroud is the default 'face of the franchise' and therefore thrust front and center to the media. Who knows what his approach would be if he were a WR, but he's embraced the situation and been great with it and we're all thrilled with him as such.
The things AJ's done haven't been by default, they're because he absolutely wanted to.
Andre has been the polar opposite of the typical diva WR. A great ambassador for a franchise, and a great role model for the young athletes in the building. He's a HOFer, recognized by Canton or not.
Tank's goal line blocking has been difficult to replace.

I think overall its fair to say for a young team Texans have been blessed with some great players that were also great people. The thing with Watson left a black mark to be sure but overall the faces of the franchise have done the city proud.

Pretty much everything about Tank has been difficult to replace. Weird when you remember he is a rookie drafted in the 3rd mostly to make the new QB happy.

Stroud only threw 5 interceptions this season, 3 in 1 game. So only 2 interceptions in the other 14 games, not too shabby.

This kid has absolutely blown away every one of these tropes and insults, and done it with class, grace, and humbleness. He wears his faith on his sleeve, or his shirt, and he is a role model not just for kids, but for all of us. The absolute **** he has had to overcome to reach this point blows my mind. It’s the stuff of movies. We are lucky he is leading this team, but the lives he will change go way beyond football. I’d love to meet him and shake his hand someday.

I vehemently defended Stroud before he took ONE snap for us. So much so that I posted I was done responding to the tripe. Having said that I also welcomed with open arms those that came around and admitted they were wrong. IMO we should move on from that and celebrate as a fan base together.

Steel has been a very stand up guy, that says volumes to me vs. a poster that completely disappears. No one is perfect but Nothing but respect for someone that hangs in there and admits they had it wrong…..
Let the history books show that, When the season was on the line, a Rookie CJ Stroud stood up to be counted and led from the front while Trevor Lawrence choked away not only the division title but also the the playoff berth.
