2023 ESPN PLAYOFF MACHINE

If we scrape by and get the 7th seed we will be facing the Chiefs in the first round if everything stayed the same lol.
 
After further study and review, I think the Texans miss the playoffs this year.

the Browns game...that could be the difference. Both us & the Jags still have them on the schedule, but we get them at home, they get them on the road...in December..which Cleveland in December is gonna be cold as all hell. Jax also still has the ravens on their schedule...almost positive that'll be a loss for them. Bucs will still most likely be playing for something in that **** NFC south division where the division leader is 5-6 so that could be a tough 1 for them as well. I could see them losing 2-3 games under the right circumstances

All of our games down the stretch are very winnable but we'll need to go 4-2 down the stretch to give ourselves the best chance. Denver, Cleveland and Indy are the 3 critical games for us imo.

I think Denver will be on a Rocky Mountain High when they play us. I hope we let them down.

I am hoping that we win the division and the Jags as well as Texans beat Cleveland. I am just greedy that way.
 
Denver is the toughest game left on our sched imo. If we can win that one, I’ll start to believe about playoffs. If we can’t pull it off, I’m just gonna enjoy watching this young team grow for the rest of the season.

This is my current target finish for the Texans. while i think 4 wins is more likely than just two, the Texans play every game too close based on their overall talent and key player experience.
