Neither did the Colts or FalconsThe Texans aren't the only team that didn't get a prime-time game..............the Cardinals didn't either.
This was changed by the networks that are paying $$$ Billions. I think they told the NFL that if they had to broadcast games no one was going to watch then they would reduce the amount of Billions they were paying the NFL. The NFL was happy to oblige their broadcast partners.I don’t know if memory fails me but I think I’m right in saying it was league policy that every club plays prime time at least once per season, and that has changed at some point recently?
Fine by me, I look forward to watching them earn that privilege back, prime time games kick off after midnight here and as I’ve got older and more responsible have changed from being a fun all nighter to a right pain of a commitment, so yeah, I’ll have a team worthy of it before I have to commit to it again hopefully.
Yep I'm with you on that Welsh-Tex.I don’t know if memory fails me but I think I’m right in saying it was league policy that every club plays prime time at least once per season, and that has changed at some point recently?

He must be a John Lopez fanI didn't have to read the article to find out who it would be talking about.

Texans’ DeMeco Ryans does not remember his 2006 rookie minicamp

Clowney is not a LB.I didn't have to read the article to find out who it would be talking about.
Clowney at different times has played outside linebacker as well as defensive end.............even with the Texans.Clowney is not a LB.
There could be a good reason why Dell specifically may not have spoken to the media.
Revealed last night:
Agent David Canter Is Under Investigation By NFLPA For Offering Inducements To Draft His Clients
I had a half day road trip today, and listened to 610 (that was a mistake). During the morning and afternoon sessions, there was nonstop criticisms by them (including taped rants by McClain) about the fact Dell, but most importantly Stroud were not allowed to speak to the media during minicamp. Their main accusation is that Casserio had brought "the Patriots way" to the Texans.
Just a couple of thoughts crossed my mind listening to the 610 jokers.
Not once was there anything brought up about David Carter (Dell's agent) being under investigation for illegal inducement offered to GMs in return for the GM drafting his clients. Whether that was the case with Carter and Caserio (which I would seriously doubt), it would be understandable that the Texans wouldn't want Dell to be interviewed/questioned and have his answers twisted in such a way to promote controversy.
Now why then not allow Stroud to speak. Well, with his previous statement making it a point to say that he specifically went to Caserio asking him to draft Dell, that could easily open up Stroud to questions if the media believed that this was only half the story..........again media twisting words insinuating there potentially being something nefarious going on with Caserio and Carter, with Stroud (totally innocent) being used as a cover. I believe the above scenarios are highly unlikely. But just one innocent mispeak by either Dell or Stroud, and the media would gladly open a can of worms on the Texans. The Texans could be waiting just a little while until more information on the Carter incidents allow for the Texans to essentially be exonerated early from any such potential implications, thus avoiding undue unnecessary interview stress on either young man.
Chris Nalls thinks he isClowney is not a LB.
I added the CBS Browns projection in my post above.I am totally employing confirmation bias in saying I knew what I was talking about when I said 7 wins.
Is that the only pass Stroud throws?
It's the only one they could put to such fine Grammy worthy music.............Is that the only pass Stroud throws?
So you think Clowney can play in space in 2023? For anyone?Clowney at different times has played outside linebacker as well as defensive end.............even with the Texans.
If Clowney signed with the Texans, he would be probably the best run stopper at LDESo you think Clowney can play in space in 2023? For anyone?
And Cleveland! That AFC North division is going to be tough this season. All talented teams, two SB winning HCs and one that has been there.
No. Not effectively. But he was used as an OLB by the Titans, then although mostly lined up as DE with the Browns, I saw him still lined up as an OLB sparingly. So you think Clowney can play in space in 2023? For anyone?
I can understand Steelers winning 24 division titles and also Bengals with 10 and even Browns with 6, but who would bet that Ravens also only have 6...And Cleveland!![]()
LINKRyans is no stranger to baseball. While he was an All-State linebacker at Jess Lanier High School in Bessemer [Alabama], he also played catcher for the Purple Tigers in baseball and admired another Bessemer native who excelled at football and baseball – Bo Jackson.
The Ravens have only been around since 1996. So they've had 6 in as many seasons as the Oilers were in HoustonI can understand Steelers winning 24 division titles and also Bengals with 10 and even Browns with 6, but who would bet that Ravens also only have 6...
And he led the Astros to a win!
These kind of things just seem to find the Texans don’t they?
Like I stated in a previous post, most reporters do not report anymore.
They make things up and stir up chit.

Are reporters making up S-2 scores?Sort of like the S2 scores…

10 so far as of nowI wonder how many picks Texans have next year?
You're right. I had forgotten the 6th sent to Buffalo and I guess the 7th from KC voidedWe only have 8 draft picks in 2024
He's showing it, or does tankathon still show the 7th from KC?Strange. Tankathon shows us with an extra pick in the 7th, but I'll go with Daugherty on this one.

I think perhaps JC has even played a little 3-4 DE besides mostly in the 4-3 of course.Clowney at different times has played outside linebacker as well as defensive end.............even with the Texans.
