I don't think this is accurate.
They'd already invested quite a few interviews on Dell by the draft.
I think they already wanted him and the interest from Stroud was coincidental and convenient

Little will have the opportunity to compete for the swing tackle job.

He is the most talented physically of Heck and Deculus. But Heck is the favorite imo. We’ll see if Strausser and Popovich can turn Little’s game into chicken salad though…

That's what I was thinking. They might bring him in and use him as a camp body. If he plays well, ink that 1 or 2yr deal. If not, cut him in TC

Sort of. NC did ask Stroud to use his contact with Tank to find out what other teams were telling him. I’m sure he wanted this input to inform him what teams he might have to jump in the draft order to get him

That tells me that NC already wanted Tank and leveraged CJ to make sure he gets Tank.
