POLL - Best QB in this draft.

We have seen enough of this seasons QB offerings to form a concensus board opinion.
I want to do this now before the pyjama party as I feel it has very little bearing on their actual play. So here it is - take your pick.
In no particular order;

I'm leaning Ridder. The things he does well, he does better than anyone else. The things he doesn't do well, can be improved with coaching.

I'm sure Slovis is transferring to Pitt and not coming out. I haven't heard anything about Armstrong for certain, but I think he's returning to Virginia.

Especially where ridder is projected to go at the moment. I like the sense of control I saw in the one or two game I saw Cincinnati play.

I don't know anything about any of these guys. Did a quick Google on Ridder. If that guy is 6'4" he's well under 216lbs.

If he's 216lbs, he's gotta be 6'6"

Cincinnati was totally overmatched against the Bama D. Could't block them and couldn't get open. Smothered.

Yes, Cincinnati was overmatched, but I didn't see a random really good throw or run that said "I am still good but in a bad situation" Honestly, could have missed those couple of plays. It was hard game to stay concentrated.

Ridder is Drew Lock all over again without the rocket arm.
I think if he went to the perfect situation he could be good.
Like being drafted by NO and Sean Payton. That would be the ideal spot for him because Payton would be the best guy to iron out those flaws in his game.

I agree with that. But, Sean Payton would be the perfect QB coach for about 99% of rookie QBs coming into the league.

Yeah, I wish all of the QB prospects had the challenge of facing the Alabama defense. Matt Corral and Ole Miss were down 35-zip to Bama when Saban called off the dogs in the 2nd half. Best players. Best coaching. It's not really fair facing those guys.

That was result of Lane Kiffin play calling. He never punted, went for 4th down several times inside their own territory. Bama would hold and only have to go 30 yards for a score.

I'm thinking Payton trades for Jimmy G. (They played QB at the same college) and drafts a QB in the 2nd (A guy like Strong)

That would be stupid. I don't think Payton does stupid things.

$16M over the cap & roster issues. He needs draft picks & money. I don't see a trade for any $20M+ QBs.

I was looking for system fits. Maybe the 49ers eat some of Jimmy G's contract like Caserio and Roby.

I think the Saints bring Winston back. He was playing OK when he went down. A drafted QB should be ready to go by 2023.

I wouldn’t be pissed, personally it’s good for New Orleans and the NFL if Saints remain relevant, like Cowboys, 49’ers, Eagles, Raiders, etc etc etc. Texans just need to start showing they belong.
