2022 Draft 1st Round Locks?

How many guys do you have as 1st round locks? I counted 22, which is surprisingly high.

1) Kayvon Thibodeaux - Edge - Oregon
2) Evan Neal - OT - Alabama
3) Derek Stingley - CB - LSU
4) Kyle Hamilton - S - Notre Dame
5) Aidan Hutchinson - Edge - Michigan
6) DeMarvin Leal - DL - Texas A&M
7) Kenyon Green - OL - Texas A&M
8) Charles Cross - OT - Mississippi State
9) George Karlaftis - Edge - Purdue
10) Ikem Ekwonu - OL - North Carolina State
11) Matt Corral - QB - Mississippi
12) Garrett Wilson - WR - Ohio State
13) Andrew Booth - CB - Clemson
14) Treylon Burks - WR - Arkansas
15) David Ojabo - Edge - Michigan
16) Tyler Linderbaum - C - Iowa

I realize there will be other QBs taken in the 1st. I'm just not completely certain who they will be after going through the draft process. Corral has shown enough to get a 1st round selection, though he might not be the first QB taken. This is not a mock draft order, just the players I feel most confident about at this stage.

I have no clue. I don’t watch CFB.

Question, do you think the talent gap is that huge between Stingly & Booth? Like I said, I don’t know them but that’s a good size gap there.

I could get behind drafting a CB in the top 3 with that kind of talent gap.

Yes. Booth would be a 1st round CB in pretty much any draft. I think he would a mid 1st round pick in last years draft. Stingley is one of the top 3 CB prospects of the past 20 years. If not for the foot injury, he would be strongly considered for #1 overall.

And you know this how ? OK so who's your other two corners in this greatest threesome of the past two decades.
Personally I'd put Patrick Peterson & Ramsey in the top three, but dunno 'bout the third one ?

So was hoping to see Thibodeux in last nights bowl game, but he didn't play (he declared awhile back) and then today maybe get a look-see at the edge guy @ Purdue, Karlaftis, but he's reportedly not playing either because of Covid, Draft prep, whatever?
I sure hope the top prospects for Michigan & 'Bama play in tomorrows P/O games ?
 
Pretty sure when it’s all said and done Pickett and probably Ridder will be 1st round locks too. Ridder’s stock in particular could shoot into the top 5-10 range if he shows well in the CFP. There are 3 teams with multiple 1sts, but only 1 of those isnt looking for a franchise guy. Ultimately These GM’s just can’t help themselves.
