Speaking of entertainment, Comfortably Numb is about where I am with the Texans.I’m well rounded in my entertainment needs. I like drama, sure. But I also like comedy & tragedy. I’ll be fine with the Texans
Then you need to find a tack and sit on it while you watch the Texans next game.Speaking of entertainment, Comfortably Numb is about where I am with the Texans.

What is the source of such excitement? I'm looking forward to this season kinda like approaching a bad car wreck in stop & go traffic. Craziest off season ever, OB is still HC AND GM, brand new defensive coordinator with exactly zero games experience as a DC. The Texans have a fairly talented offense, on paper and with the assumption of staying healthy for the majority of the season(YIKES!!). The defense is a whole other issue. Special teams coach retires, so there's more upheaval at a perennial issue for the team.Love the reference.
But I’m excited. As excited as I’ve ever been about this team.
Hope. That’s what I got.
May be gone by half time HOF weekend, but for now, it’s hope.
As fat as my ass has grown during the lock down, I'm not sure I'd feel it.Then you need to find a tack and sit on it while you watch the Texans next game.

The Texans would have to pay about $4 million of Cobb's salary to make that deal.Report is that Aaron Rodgers will agree to return to play for Green Bay if they trade for Randall Cobb.

Wow. A 1st rounder. It'll be a low first, but still a one.

The one could be a joke, but not the discussion between Rodgers and the Packers. There's other details involved in their talks, but a trade with the Texans could be on the table.Lol no way. Joke of the day
Doesn’t matter. The contract is what it is. Dead money has to accrueSounds like GB needs to trade for Cobb more than the Texans need to trade him.

Is O'Brien working for the Packers now?
Is O'Brien working for the Packers now?
Nah, he isn't that dense.Damn. That’s the most accurate guess ever made.
If he is there let’s see if he will swap a first and Adams for Cobb.

Depends upon how much salary the Texans would eat. Packers have $4 million and change under the cap, and Cobb's salary is over $8 million. How much would they save?
Cleaning up the mess.
Trading Cobb brings Texans $8 million cap savings and if they paid half his 2021 base of just over $8 they would have a net of $4m cap savings.Depends upon how much salary the Texans would eat. Packers have $4 million and change under the cap, and Cobb's salary is over $8 million.
We need one of these situations that are pro Texans to freakin happen.Trading Cobb brings Texans $8 million cap savings and if they paid half his 2021 base of just over $8 they would have a net of $4m cap savings.
I find it hard to believe the Packers would give up a 1st round pick for a 31 year old slot receiver. Then again, their GM moved up in the 1st round of the draft last year to take a QB to replace the MVP - so anything is possible.
I'm sure it would be a done deal if they were offering a 1st.I find it hard to believe the Packers would give up a 1st round pick for a 31 year old slot receiver.

At least I think it would be a done deal.
Uh... I hope it would be a done deal.
Actually I have no idea what Caserio would do if GB offered a 1st.

That would be crazy to get more value for Cobb than Hopkins.

Yeah, I bet that's it.Green Bay may be figuring out how to get under the cap since Cobb would put them over the cap. Not to mention they have to sign their upcoming draft class too.

Religious bs. Please delete…unless it fills your political agenda.Easterby would probably lecture Nick on what a sin it is to steal and we would make the trade for a late 6th round pick.

Done deal according to Chris BrockmanI'm sure it would be a done deal if they were offering a 1st.

Seems like they're trying to keep their MVP quarterback happy. Who knows even the Astros just pulled off a heck of a trade with Mariners. And there are rumors that the Rockets could move Wall. And now may give up a first pick to get a receiver the MVP is demanding, after they moved up to draft the MVP'S replacement. Seems like Green Bay is treating their roster and draft capital like they're playing Madden.
Packers saved almost two million in cap space by cutting Blake Bortles and quarterback dolegala today. Salary cap space should be approximately 6 Million now.Green Bay may be figuring out how to get under the cap since Cobb would put them over the cap. I just found this stating that Aaron Rodgers has adjusted his contract to increase cap space for the Pack They also voided his 2023 season:
What the Aaron Rodgers' contract restructure with the Green Bay Packers means
Reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers seem to have come to terms on somewhat of a compromise after months of drama between the two sides.sportsnaut.com
Nice catch BB.
You guys who think the Packers are gonna swap a first round pick for Cobb are smoking some of Thorns really good stuff unless it's tied to
some very onerous conditions or is maybe in the '23 Draft, otherwise maybe we get a third round pick in next years Draft.
