Week 14: Where is the Bears thread?

Watson held the ball too long all day, trying to get receivers open to no avail. Watson was sacked six times. Most of the Texans' positive plays came off of Watson adlibbing and escaping pressure. That's not sustainable offense against good Ds. Watson has to learn to throw it away.

Agree with Watson holding too long but offensive line also was horrible. As of now I have them drafting a player for Right Guard and another for Center with two of our first three picks. Going to slide in a running back with one of the fourth round picks. If Hubbard is not there around 4 I would be willing to slide to round five for a running back. But we really really need those three positions solidified.

I understand need for defense but we have to protect Watson and score to win games. No one wants to watch a three to nothing loss because we have great defense.

That Howard block was as bad as the drop.
Howard is a real puzzle to me as his rookie year of eight games pre-injury was rated extremely good. Since he has returned he does not seem to be the same player. Hopefully he just needs to heal from the injury and will be good to go 2021. Scharping is a greater Mystery to me. Everything points to Devlin in my opinion so hopefully he is gone in a few weeks.

I am looking for left tackle Carmon Jackson from Clemson to be our left guard with Scharping moving to right.
Alabama's Dickerson at center second selection Round 4.

Yes sir it all points to Delvin. Every linemen FA that was brought here has regressed. Crazy thing they showed potential in the running game early on last season. Then the injuries started racking up and it’s been downhill every since.

Find me a running back too please

Buddy Howell must be terrible in practice, or a horrible teammate or something. He seems to run pretty well between the tackles (better than anyone else we have) and can't see the field at RB unless we have no one left, almost seems like they would rather go with 'lucky fan from section 101' before putting him in the game.

Don't give me the 'he can't block' excuse - neither can most of our line and we keep trotting those guys out there...
