30 is the new 20: Green Bay Packers

The Packers offense will be hurting. Rodgers will likely be without his LT. His C will be crippled if he even plays. His secondary is banged up. The Packers will likely be without their their dual threat RB. Their best TE has gimpy ankle that is unlikely to see the field.

Their primary returner will be absent.

If Watson manages to find his receivers more often than the Packers' Jaire Alexander, and our D even manages to play somewhat "average," we have a chance to win.

Again our opponents have significant injuries in significant positions. But as opposed to what has happened in previous games, we must be able to take advantage of the "gifts."

Guess what? The Packers are quite capable of running the ball too. In fact, they’re 6th in yards per game before tonight’s games.

Then you’ve got Rodgers coming off a bad game likely to be in full redemption mode.

Gotta feeling this one is gonna get ugly. Oh, and take the over.
Yeah ugly but maybe Dashaun can sit on bench next to Aaron for a selfie? It doesn't have to be a total loss.

If we beat them I surely hope everyone on here will appreciate the victory. Verses using the excuse of what Doc just posted. Injuries are apart of the game.

I always enjoy victory. It's the best feeling in the world on a Sunday afternoon. With that said I also understand the context of why victory happens.

Although not really emphasized, the Packers LB corp lost one of their strong MLBs to a pectoral rupture (Christian Kerksey) earlier this month. The remaining LBs are dealing in some way with injury issues.

PJ Hall has come down with an illness that is not COVID-19. I don't expect to see him Sunday.
Underrated loss, if he misses this game. The Packers are 7th in the league in rushing yardage per game at 139.4. A defense that was already terrible against the run that will be w/o McKinney for the 2nd or 3rd game in a row and now possibly PJ Hall...

There are so many ways the Packers can attack an average defense, much less a bottom quarter of the league defense. The Packers WR and RB coaches must have had furious debates this past week on why their groups should be featured today. It will be interesting to see how they approach it. I'm kind of expecting 60/40 pass versus the run until the 4th quarter.

It's up to the Texans offense to keep this game close. Unfortunately, they have been whipped in TOP all year and this is one of those games you'd like to have an effective running game to keep ARod on the sidelines.

It would be nice if the Texans call pull this one out, but I just don't see it. And at this point, I'm not sure I see a real difference between being 2-5 and 1-6 anyway. We're getting a reboot no matter what happens.

Hall will be still be sneezing on the Packers O, clearing them out of the way in fear of catching something.
