Thanks for your support!

It’s year 6 of the 3 year rebuild, with no end in sight.

More like -3, but a few posters think the rebuild clock resets at the end of each season for O’Brien.

Their logic? Because something new happens each offseason. Be it new players (like every team in the league gets every season by draft or FA) new coaches (as every team in the league does when either coaches or players just ain’t cutting it) or whatever the case may be.

What will it take for you O’Brien fans to finally see the man just isn’t HC, OC, and for damn sure NOT GM material? 6 years going on 7, and that still ain't enough?

To be fair, BO’b had to deal with COVID-19. Screwed up the whole offseason.

I don't know a single OB supporter .... NONE , Zip , Zilch , Nodda.

I wanted him gone in 2016.

The only person who doesn't is Janice McNair - the one writing the checks.

He's got this year and next on his contract , they are already paying Gaine not to GM , getting ride of OB means paying him to go away too .... and then paying someone else to replace him - all in a time where the league is hemorrhaging money.

It's going to take a very poor season to get OB gone but I for one hope it happens cause otherwise its just more of the same and I've had more than enough of that.

Is Janice going to start a go fund me page or make Cal stand outside the gates with a tip jar to fund Cal's mismanagement and get atleast a new HC ?

I could see Cal promoting Easterby to GM.

With NO HOPE in sight...... is the worst part. He has traded away everything we need to rebuild. Who the hell wants to come here as GM. Nothing but failure in cards. Butthead has ruined this franchise with his GM title. BH trades DHOP and takes Johnson's contract. Better off not getting Johnson. What the hell is so hard to understand. Johnson is over the hill. Why don't the players stand up for themselves and the fans. BH gets rid of anyone that may speak the TRUTH. BH also on top of everything else sucks as a coach and especially as an offensive coach. Anyone watching Chiefs/Ravens games. Looks like they are playing a different games.

McNairs obviously don't give a **** about winning. Show me the money is all they care about.
What a ******* waste of a franchise

I like football. The whole season is like an unfolding drama. At this point of the season we usually don’t know what we’re looking at. Some team may start 4-1 but finish 3-8. Maybe a team will start 0-3 then finish 11-2.

Then there’s the season after the season where the best team in the league can be beat by a team that barely made it.

That’s what makes this sport so dang entertaining

In years past, with our slow starts, I’ve counted on the team we see in November is much better than the team we see in September.

But truthfully, that doesn’t happen with this team. It will be a different team, mainly due to injury. But it will be the same patchwork offense & same patchwork defense trying to figure it out.

We don’t build on anything. The bubble screen is the only staple of our offense & flukey is the only characteristic of the defense that carries over.

year after year, month after month.

Rebuilding and waiting for next year since 2002...
I actually think they weren’t far off on this last pass. Following Kubiak they made a hire and managed to become perennial playoff contenders. Where they went wrong is that for the past 3 years the ceiling has been set as a playoff blowout loss.

The McNair’s reaction should have been to move on from the coaching staff. Instead they allowed OB to scapegoat the front office, made a bad hire and allowed OB to take too much control.

Now if they realise their mistake in having the pastor around, they can hire a quality GM, and bring in an exciting HC and staff to make this offense the powerhouse it ought to be, and get the D turned around in 2 years. Next season should already look much better if we make the right hires.

Agreed, but the pastor ain't going anywhere.

Gotta get better QB play like yesterday if you want this team to compete.

I’m noticing the media I’m listening to seems to have the pastor on their radar now. The Texans may listen to the noise as the fans seem to have got the media’s attention about the situation.

Yesterday Watson looked better than he has for some time. Schedule looks relatively soft for the rest of the season, maybe the pick we give to Miami ends up outside the top 10 with Watson looking like an NFL QB for his next head coach?

Optimal situation.

I think that the pastor will be be recommending Dimitroff. I wouldn't have an issue with this hire. Experienced, has lead a team to the SB. Well connected and aggressive.
