Agreed.Unfortunately, the entire year has been a drag in real life.
There’s is no “no spin zone”. At least there’s no link when I try and go there.Leave the political BS in the NSZ, where it belongs.
If you want someone to tell you where to go, hang tight. I'm sure someone will help. LolThere’s is no “no spin zone”. At least there’s no link when I try and go there.
I enjoy watching sports and enjoy discussing politics, but the two together...........I don't like. This is going to be an election on Nov 3 that will change the way we see America for the foreseeable future.Agreed,
I've just found other things to fill the void.
I'm not saying I'm going to punish myself by not watching NFL football. But it's not as important to me as it used to be.
BTW, there are many fans on the fence that will be turned off by the kneeling. Obviously most fans on this MB aren't this way.
I can't find the NSZ either. Where is it?There’s is no “no spin zone”. At least there’s no link when I try and go there.
Forum policy:I can't find the NSZ either. Where is it?
Source: TexansTalk Official Rules - UpdatedFacebook, comments section on foxnews.com, etc. What is the appropriate section for political discussion? I was digging for NSZ from days gone by and only found fragments.
The Texans are an entertainment company. This forum - Texans Talk - is about talking about the entertainment aspect of their endeavors. The Texans started the political discussion by backing the democratic group blm.
Though that may be true, when that stuff infiltrates the “entertainment” like it has, it’s a little difficult to just ignore it.The Texans are an entertainment company. This forum - Texans Talk - is about talking about the entertainment aspect of their endeavors.
There are many other places on the internet to chat about the political angles and voice your displeasure / boycott. This forum is not one of them.
Fair enough. I'll just point out that I don't give a rat's ass about the political perspectives of musicians or actors that I enjoy, so why should athletes be any different?Though that may be true, when that stuff infiltrates the “entertainment” like it has, it’s a little difficult to just ignore it.
I don’t want to talk or read about it anymore than the next guy, but there it is.
Because the school system has failed us. People can't think for themselves anymore. They believe what the entertainment industry is selling them. This includes the MSM.Fair enough. I'll just point out that I don't give a rat's ass about the political perspectives of musicians or actors that I enjoy, so why should athletes be any different?
So I have to ask: why do folks elevate the OPINIONS of entertainers to be worth more than anyone else?
I allow them to be court jesters in my kingdom. Beyond that simple task, they have no other value to me.
I hear you. & as long as they keep it on their variety shows, I couldn’t care less. I haven’t watched NFLN for months & I used to wake up to that sht.So I have to ask: why do folks elevate the OPINIONS of entertainers to be worth more than anyone else?
Oh, I’m with you. I’m just saying it’s there so it’s probably going to get brought up.Fair enough. I'll just point out that I don't give a rat's ass about the political perspectives of musicians or actors that I enjoy, so why should athletes be any different?

Then it would make sense for the backlash against the NFL. IF this crap actually infiltrated into the game.Just a thought..what if NFL cameras focused only on the flag?
