Qvale played for Texans offensive line coach Mike Devlin for the Jets, and Texans director of player personnel Matt Bazirgan is a former Jets executive.

Qvale. Pronounced KWAH-lee. As one would suspect.

Is O'Brien trolling Texan fans with these signings? That's how it feels to me. I've never heard of any of these guys. Like he's creating players on Madden then "signing" them.

Coach has his own list of players he wants. Just because we have not heard of any of them means nothing.

Easterby = Little Finger/Cal = Fredo Corleone
He suffered a knee injury which sounds like a MCL last TC. He was IR'ed but returned in Dec as designated.
as long as these injuries haven’t affected his goodteammateness that’s all that really matters. That, and can he still be a Quality contributor during practice? If Queso can prove that he can deliver in these 2 critical areas of need then it proves Fat Travolta is still the sharpest football mind we’ve ever witnessed. So to all the BoB apologist, there you have I complimented your football messiah. Rejoice.

Yea but does he bring his lunchpail to work every day? I mean, if he does, then Brent can expect multi years with guaranteed money. BOB doesn’t mess around.

Who hadn't heard of Matt Kalil?

He was a former pro bowler.

Let your hate be focused correctly.
As usual, you missed the context of my post. I was responding to the comment, "Coach has his own list of players he wants."

Like you. I don't hate anyone. So, no hate. Just facts. He was a Pro Bowler his rookie year in 2012 and was injured two out of the last three years. You actually want to give the Texans kudos for signing an injury plagued lineman who didn't make it out training camp? Really?

Maybe I did, I must've missed the joke.

Kalil had a much more accomplished career than this guy ever has. Truthfully I've never even heard of this guy and I consider myself to be pretty NFL knowledgeable.

Theres a good reason some of these offensive linemen aren't known or known to be any good. Just as there's a good reason why other offensive linemen are known or known to be good to great. I have not seen any real reason I should have trust in Coach going forward anyway.

An extremely former pro bowler (which means much, much less than being an All Pro) and obviously past anything resembling a cousin to his prime.
