Im saying that IF the Titans win the NFL would LOVE the old Oilers vs the New Texans narrative, so if the posters on the Chiefs board are right and that the Refs will help the Texans again... it might give reason for concern IF there is any truth to that narrative of the game being rigged for story.

I agree, but its also spouted by plenty of losing team fans that the refs helped the other team or how their team is playing the opposing team AND the refs.... so while it may be fake news... it still has plenty of people believe it, Im sure that Chiefs fans have plenty just as do any other team.

Thanks to the Titans preparation and performance, we are 30 minutes away from the opportunity to host the AFC championship game. I have already organized "my boys." If the Titans and Texans win, we are headed to Houston next weekend. "We" being fans and friends located in Austin, Dallas, Shreveport, who have been watching and rooting for the Texans since the beginning. Uggh! If the Titans finish this, I don't know how I am not going to be livid with BOB when we don't show up prepared tomorrow.
 
Even if the Titans don’t finish it! The Texans need to wrap up on tackles and come with energy on the field offensively.
Unfortunately, our Houston Astros lost at home when they were highly favored. The Texans can be like the Nationals and upset the home team... I am praying!!

Well all your, "if this then that" is coming off some game in the past. We've played each other the last 3 or 4 years. You're not educating anyone here.

We know who Kelce is. We know who Hill is. We managed to keep them out of the endzone before & we're going to try to keep them out of the endzone tomorrow.

& yeah, our defense sucks. But they were good enough to limit Kelce & win the game. Last game. & I think they're better this game.

nor are the Texans the same team And they seem to do better without rest. Kelsey has to get past the front seven. you better hope Kelsey is not your only Offense. JJ Watt is back. Jacob Martin is back. Mercilus had three quarterback hits against Buffalo and should be wanting to prove his worth for his new Incredible contract. Reader wants to shut down the middle so he can get one of those incredible contracts.

Living in the PAST. I was not aware there is carryover in the NFL. So you think their better. Good for you. They may be. I think KC is better too. Bottom line is we shall see tomorrow. Enjoy the battle. " The past does not determine the now".

Im sure you are correct. The Houston defense will become all world tomorrow. Overnight amazing improvement. It will go from bottom of the pack and stop KC in its tracks. Yes Kelce is my only hope so I guess I must be in wait until next year mode.

Now you're just being funny! Texas defense does not have to be all world to beat Kansas City. You make statements and when somebody calls you on it with the same type statements you post you do not handle it well.

I think the NFL is only interested in selling stuff. Titans and Texans aren’t the biggest draws. Maybe Texans are bigger because Watson and Watt, but I don’t see the where the Titans would bring in money.

My money is the NFL wants KC vs Baltimore, and SanFran vs Green Bay.

Who is starting that theory has just realized the Texans are going to win and is looking for an out.
 
Something weird just happened on the forum. Somebody started a new thread about the ravens-titans, and how that if the Texans lose it would set up for monumental disappointment. Then those posts got merged into this thread? Was that really necessary? All it does is confuse everything by merging a bunch of different directions into a big mess.
 
Chiefs fans talkin smack about the team that beat up Tennessee in Tennessee. They have no idea what they're coming up against.

The Titans had a chance to take control of the AFC South in their stadium against us and couldn't do it. They needed to win against an undermanned Texans team with nothing to play for to help them make the playoffs. I know we can handle them. We just need to show up against KC first.

Scanned the Chiefs Planet forum, and the level of arrogant overconfidence on that site about tomorrow's game is just staggering. I'm also kind of confused about the insecure hate for both DW and Lamar Jackson. It's OK if all three QBs are good, Chiefs fans, it's OK.

I'm still picking the Chiefs to probably win tomorrow, but you'd think we're the Bengals if you read what they think.

Apparently... And the OP is apparently vaporized. don't know why though, there was nothing wrong with having a new thread about the ramifications of a Titans win on the Texans play-off situation. Not only nothing wrong with it, but it would have been better to keep the threads separated. Pretty much killed the ju-ju that was happening. Oh well.
