Wade Phillips has not been retained by the Los Angeles Rams but has stated he still wants to coach. I would really like to see Wade back as the DC for the Texans. I've had enough of RAC and his bending defense. We have ranked 28, 21, 13, 32 and 30 in total defense the last five years (Vrabel was DC in 2016 but it RAC was still on staff). Those are terrible results with some good players.
I believe Wade would to a better job of scheming and game planning.

Wade had a great run prior to the Rams. 10 top 10 defenses in 11 seasons. But, his defenses have been 19th, 19th, and 13th the past 3 seasons in LA. With a boatload of talent. I'm OK with moving on from Romeo. Looking for someone with fresher ideas, though.

I like Wade too, but wouldn't want him after I think he under achieved with the Rams.
