#BeatTheJets

After last week I'm scared that we're back to our usual suck, but man do I hope to be wrong :)
Today we find out a little bit about our team. If they are the Texans of old, they don't show up and lose this game. If they have turned the page, they take care of business and dominate the game.

It was the Colts game in week 4 that was the beginning of a streak. I'm hoping last week's Colts game isn't the beginning of a streak as well. May this Texans team do better than the 2012 team after their win streak was stopped by the Patriots.

Speaking of the Patriots, I remember that season when they went undefeated, only to later lose in the Super Bowl to one of the teams that they had beaten on the road back in the regular season.

After the Jets game, the Texans have to go on the road and face a team that no NFL team in Houston has beaten before. After that, it's back home for yet another division foe, the same one that shut out the Colts a couple of weeks ago.

Today's game will indeed show us what the Texans are made of.

In 2012 their streak was first stopped by the Packers at Reliant, then later by the Patriots at Gillette. They were dominated in both games. This years team hasn't been dominated yet

I am little worried that I am not worried at all about the Texans winning this game

Our current team can beat the Jets right now, any day of the week. Whether we do it or not, well, it's the Texans. LOL

haha exactly.. I would love to say that some games are 'easy'.. but as you, I've been around long enough to have my hopes blown up in a perpetual state of self-sabotage... I have complete confidence in our ability to screw up a sure game ;)

Even after the Packers loss the Texans were able to rebound nicely against a Ravens team that had always owned the Texans up until that game. Then they went on another good winning streak before that Patriots game. The Texans weren't the same after that game. As for being dominated, just because the Texans aren't dominated in a game doesn't mean too much if they continue on with a losing streak. A great example of this is the Texans' 2010 after the bye. How many of those games did they lose in a row by just one score?

With Burnett and Enunwa out, Darnold will have to win this on his own. Not happening without his best weapons and with Watt, Clowney, Mercilus and the boys coming after him. What makes matter worse, his best pass protector, Ben Braden is out too.
The Texans defense will be all over Darnold. And with the Jets less then stellar defense trying to contain Watson, Hopkins, Miller, D Thomas and the rest of the Texans offensive weapons, this game will be handled convincingly by the Texans.

Go Texans!
Git'r Done!

Bill Belichick hasn't lost back to back games in December since 2002.

16 years.

It is my most sincere hope, regardless what you think of my previous posts, the same will be said of BO'b in 2034.
