Chiefs V Rams -Monday night

this game is absolutely nuts. These teams are on pace to put up 100 pts. Zero defense is being played. The NFL has turned into the Big 12. Don’t get me wrong i like offense, but at some point scoring like this diminishes the effect of the excitement when u do score.

Tired of watching these track meets every week. The league has to do something to Even the playing field for the defenses. Eliminate these pick play routes or something.

Considering there's been 2 defensive TDs, 8 sacks and 5 turnovers so far, I wouldn't say there's zero defense being played. It's just that these 2 offensives are extremely potent.

Extremely potent b/c they’re being enabled by the league. Andy Reid’s offense is nothing but pic plays. That last TD for KC, Kelce didn’t even try to sell like he was running a route.

**** is the arena league right now.

These coaches are so much ******* better than our coaches.

It's sickening.

What amazing play designs.

Kinda helps when you’ve got the talent out there each of these teams have. Funny thing is Gurley hasn’t even been a factor.

Make sure you check out next Monday night's game then come back and tell me how enable offenses are.

Sorry, handing the ball to Todd Gurley three times in a row is the play there...He is good enough to make a play even with a stacked line.

Not even remotely the same amount of talent on the field for each team’s offense...nice try though.

Right! THEY have the talent and that's why they're putting up the points. Yes, I get that the league is geared to the offense, but 8 other games this week were in the 36-45 point range. So not exactly arena league Big 12 ball. Nice try back at you.

Lol that game was about as big 12 as it gets! High scoring game that ultimately is decided not by who scores the most, but who can stop slow down the opposition the most & make a defensive play.

Shits terrible.

You have to adapt to the current NFL. I get it for the football purest, we don't particularly want to see 40+ point games regularly. But you can't expect to score sub 20 points and win consistently anymore. All last night really did for me was confirm that our offense, and how it has been playing pretty much all season is still light years away from competing with the upper echelon teams.

I think with an improved line, and a healthy Fuller we can at least be close. But for some reason without Fuller our offense is stagnant, we still try to stretch the field vertically even without a true deep threat. I think without Fuller we need to work on spreading the field horizontally as well.

Is this also sarcasm?

Player for player, we probably come out even - if not ahead by virtue of Hopkins. Now if only there were some clue as to why one group of 3 dynamic weapons and a young exceptional quarterback was exploding scoreboards, and the other is struggling to score as many touchdowns as their defense. The latter scored 1 offensive TD last week - Dak Prescott and Jason Garrett achieved 4 touchdowns against the same opponent.

I don't think Hopkins over Hill outweighs how much better Kelce/Hunt is better than Griffin/Miller. I would say Mahomes and Watson pretty even IF they had the same weapons and coaching.

I didn't include Griffin, because nobody should. Do you remember what Miller looked like when we signed him? Lost in the O'Brienverse is that Miller is multiple threat, especially as a receiver. Hunt and Miller have nearly the same number of receptions ... Hunt has twice the yards and 7td's to Miller's 1 ... weird. We traded a 4th round pick for Ring of Honor destined Thomas to be our #2 option, he should at least compare favorably to Kelce (instead of 2 accidental targets). Our new picks at TE have 21 receptions between them, and round most definitely doesn't matter when designing for TE's ... just ask the Rams and Chiefs (crap, I'm trying to disprove coaching).

Ok, even with 50 yr old DT instead of Griffin, Texans fall short... closer, but still short. And never, never discount coaching

Terrible. Miller in MIA or here has never been the weapon Hunt has been since day 1 entering the league & you really are drunk if you believe otherwise. Kelce as a weapon is better than anything we field at the TE position right now although there is some young talent & promise currently at the position. DT right now is going into his 3rd game with us but it is very much known around the league that he is not the same guy he was just 2-3 years ago in Denver. So, no he is still not comparable to Kelce as a weapon...a guy who is arguably the best in the league at his position.

And as much as I love our guy DW4, 1 thing that's quite obvious is that he is not quite the passer that Mahomes is right now...& may never be. Doesn't mean that he can't be a great qb in this league...but i think we have to give the razor thin edge to Mahomes as a qb right now.

Regardless, This also still doesn't take into account guys like Sammie Watkins (1st round draft pick) & Deanthony Thomas for KC. & then there's the o-line..clear advantage to KC there.
