I don’t think Jerry Jones or Bob McNair would want another team in Texas.

My thought is the NFL wants a team in Europe and it could be the chargers, or the Jags.

From what I read Oakland was initially using San Antonio as a possible relocation place. Even had a space of land picked out for the stadium to be built on 35 between there and New Braunsfels I think. Jerry and McNair shut it down with their political pull is what I'm told. So I doubt there is any chance for the Chargers relocating there. Jerry is actually good friends with Davis, I don't think he is on that level with the Spanos family, I also don't know how much money the Spanos' have as far as footing the bill for the stadium.

Jags owner just recently pulled out of his bid for Wimbley stadium over there, so Idk if he is giving up on his dream of playing over there or if he is looking for a different way to accomplish it.

I'm sure Jones has lots of fans in SA but the Texans have few fans in the state outside of Houston metro from what I can gather so the McNairs should be indifferent.
I think it would be great to have a team in SA which could then potentially provide a real regional rival for the Texans which we certainly don't have now.

Unless the NFL is going to subsidize their European Tax Bill, it may be hard to find a owner willing to make the move.

Yep, but it's the NFL owners who might not expect those kind of tax burdens.....especially when you toss in the cost of travel 10+ times a year.

If the Chargers move to London, it will also require a realignment. No way they keep a European team in the AFC West. The Texans are westernmost AFC team among those from other divisions.

In terms of Texans to AFC West it might be true. I don't know if they're the ones that would end up there. But in terms of a London team, there is no way, unless they play their 3 divisional road games 3 weeks in a row.
