We have one ironman WR in Nuk and two of the most fragile guys I've seen in a while. I think WFV and Coutee share one healthy hammy.

Kiki, are you playing? Are you healthy?
Say you'll never ever leave the field
'Cause I want ya, and I need ya
And I'm down for you always

Without Nuk this offense wouldn't be worth a crap right now. Hopefully our other WRs can get out of their wheelchairs long enough to catch a pass or two.

If the Texans win this game, they will be set up very well for a run at the post season.
But the Texans are the Texans, therefore they will lose tonight.
No detailed analysis required for that prediction, just experience as a native Houstonian.

No way you let Trashweiler come in here and beat you .. defense will shine led by Clowney .. Deshaun can actually inhale a full breath for the first time in 2 weeks, what does that mean? Highlights baby, lots of them.

HOU 33
MIA 17

Does this feel like a trap game to anybody else ?
First glance seems to have a big "W" pasted on it with a backup QB and half his reciveing corp out of th game.
Last time we played a B-U QB, a game we should have won, we lost and I think Osweler is > than Gabbert.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried about this game

Surprised to see Hal there, what happened?

Shoulder I believe.

*Edit*
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/10/24/texans-rule-out-andre-hal-keke-coutee/

Texans safetyAndre Halreturned from Hodgkin’s lymphoma four months after his diagnosis. He played 29 of 68 snaps in his comeback, making one tackle against the Jaguars.

But Hal also injured his shoulder, which will keep him out Thursday night.

The Texans declared Hal out on their status report.

May I slip you a prescription for a black market FDA unapproved medication which was told to me by a pharmacist in Kenya to be effective for such a problem?......if it does not kill you............in which case I would have to deny all association.:)

lol, I probably need it. I think it's just Houston fandom getting to me today. Our team has scratched and clawed their way to get above .500 after starting 0-3, I don't want to see us lose all that momentum......... against Brock........ on national TV

I know the Texans are playing better and we're facing Erin BROCKovich but I am not totally confident.

Remember this team lost to Blaine Freaking Gabbert. BLAINE GABBERT. After that game I felt like John Goodman's character in Revenge of the Nerds.

well this is a strange and possibly depressing coincidence. The only other team to start off 0-3, and win 4 in a row to lead their division after week 7 is the 2011 Chiefs(finished 7-9) Their 8th game was against the Dolphins(L) and their 9th game against the Broncos(L)

Shut up!!! :)

With BOB as the coach, I don't think I'll ever feel confident. I think we'll always be able to beat any team, as well as lose to any team.

And both of those losses were at home..........so MAYBE, we can see some divergence from the pattern. :texflag:

Wes Welker totalled 96 receptions for 1,121 yards and one TD in 46 games for the Dolphins from 2004-06. In that period, he averaged 9.7 yards per punt and 22.7 yards per kickoff.

MODERATORS! I want this person banned. :bat:

Well, Blaine freaking Gabbert only threw 3 passes on their 2 TD drives, and one of those TDs was the punt where no one was covering the gunner. Don't give them that dumbass play, they win.

But yeah, I get it. A loss to Brock freaking Osweiler is not going to be cool.

I feel like we're about to come crashing back down to reality tonight with an ugly loss, at home, against a depleted dophins team. While I hope for the best, I can only see an L tonight. Go Texans!
