**Official Game-Day Thread** Texans at Patriots Game 1, Sunday Sept 9, 2018!!

Watt is just what AJ was when he was here. A great player that got drafted and then wasted by a lousy franchise that will never be anything more than a money-machine for the greedy POS owner and his family. Bengals? We would be lucky to be the Bengals. Browns? That's more like our fate here in Houston. Just another also-ran in the AFC that's owned by the Patriots/Steelers/Broncos.

The Texans are garbage and their ceiling has always been "also-ran". We just didn't want to believe it when football came back to town but you can't wish something into reality. The team is short handed starting with the space between McNair's ears and trickling on down to the guys who work concessions at NRG Stadium. It's just a business and/or a fun diversion for everyone involved. If the yearly outcome bothers you then you probably need to have another beer and get some perspective because this isn't about winning. It's about profits and public relations.

It only takes the end of the 3rd quarter and down by 18 to realize that balance and not putting the whole offense on your rookie QB is how to move the ball against a pass defense.

Have a snickers, you're a grumpy fan when you're hungry.

Big difference between the two. Injuries derailed Watts time here.

He missed all of OTAS, training camp and majority of the preseason. I don't expect much from him today. Very rusty

And is in a very bad matchup. Clowney wins with his ridiculous jump, strength and length ... he should be playing LDE today. Watt's hands or Mercilus's agility would be a better matchup against their LT.

Watt's probably afraid of their LT and decided he needed to play LDE, while our 260lb pass rusher is playing defensive tackle.
