**Official Game-Day Thread** Texans at Patriots Game 1, Sunday Sept 9, 2018!!

Watson looking really bad today. Part of it is the O-Line, but he coped better with a bad O-Line last year. SO hopefully it is just rust But his decision making and accuracy are way of today and the game almost Looks too fast for him today...

This season is the first time I have had no interest in football before the season. I had no idea who we drafted. I had no idea how pre season looked. I did not know who we played today until I checked before the game. This **** is why. I don’t even get mad anymore cause it’s the same old ****. Texans are the weak link in the Houston sports scene. My passion for football has been beaten into a pulp over the last 16 years by this team. My family usually comes to me for fantasy advice etc and they were all shocked this year that I had no help to offer because I just didn’t care. Texans have to prove me wrong at this point. Tired of it.

We get the ball at the beginning of the third quarter. And so far our D is dominating. If Watson can get his Act together we are clearly the better team today. So far it doesn‘t Look like that will Happen though. Prove me wrong Deshaun!

With the constant bombardment of Texans failures and misery coupled with the incessant distractions about the sport off the field and the progressive overbearing rules and regulations muddling the sport on the field and the realization that there isn't much game variance and that football is kinda sorta really boring and cookie cutter and the realization that most people only watch football for fantasy/gambling reasons......my love for the sport has diminished incredibly.

I still watch mainly because I love the Texans and I love the "event" of Sunday, and plus, what the **** am I gonna be doing otherwise, going on a hike like a douche?
 
So far we've forced the Patriots into 4 punts and an interception inside their territory in the first half ... and are losing by 8.
 
Time for the Patriots to pull off THEIR "score before the half" bullshit. But they're not getting the ball back after halftime. Well, until we turn it over to them.
 
That call by OB shows that this POS doesn’t learn. He’s incapable of learning. I fire this SOB before he gets on the plane. In fact he doesn’t even get on the plane. If I am McNair I have someone making OB coach reservations on another plane right now.
 
Nobody with speed to stretch field with Fuller and Coutee out. Offense is predictable.
