Dez Bryant Cut

His career will end just as Andre Johnson’s did. He’ll go to another team thinking he’s going to be the guy and there will be no quality production and the team will cut him sooner than later.

Except that wasn't AJ's thinking. He went to be with Luck.

You put Fuller with his injury history in the slot and you can plan on getting him his own personal gurney.

He doesn't have one already? I think with Ellington and Fuller combined you get about one really fast WR. I just don't think we're good to go at WR yet. That's why I wanted Terrelle Pryor but there were (and still are) other options. I don't think of Dez as one of them.

The Texans need another WR. No doubt. The Texans do not need Dez Bryant. No way, no how, no sir.

Good grief.

I rest my case.

If we don't fix our limp dick running game, we might need someone like Dez so we can throw the ball all over the field in order to score. Not a fan of him, but he is a real end zone weapon.

This is why I don't see him on this team. BOB would not want a guy like this on his team and his off the field issues over the years will likely make ownership pass on him.

He was in 2014. Not since.

Dallas really changed their offensive philosophy when Romo went down and Prescott/Elliott arrived on the scene. The guy will be 30 when the season gets rolling...not exactly over the hill. As much as I would take a flyer on Bryant, he's going to sign with someone in the NFC East. I wouldn't exactly count Green Bay out since they're also in need of a WR and which WR wouldn't mind being saddled with Rodgers throwing them the ball?

The teams in the NFC East have stated they are not interested.

There's going to be a lot less interest on the market than Bryant anticipates. His act is tired and his ability no longer matches his mouth.

No thanks. He could play here for free and he'd still do more harm than good. Let someone else deal with that.

Dez Bryant has retweeted that photo of him wearing a Houston Texans jersey that DeAndre Hopkins had posted. The Honey Badger and D-Hop are heavily recruiting him.

All it would take is for Watson and Watt to step in. We can sell Dez on signing here if our best players want him. This would be an ideal place for Dez Bryant to play. This is a talented team with great veteran leadership and a young franchise quarterback.

If we stay healthy in 2018 we may go 12-4.

We need all the firepower we can get to knock off the Jaguars.

Always appreciate your upbeat posts BOP because as the MBs resident Pollyanna you serve a useful purpose of providing some balance to the folks who are overly pessimistic and sometimes downright gloomy but 12-4 ? C'mon BOP that's pretty strong even for you.
And no I don't think we need Bryan and his sideline fitzies here in Houston.

This means the McNair's would actually have to spend some $$$$.

# Not gonna happen.

He has spent money this offseason.

Dez Bryant isn't going to demand a huge contract so money wouldn't even be a part of the decision making process here. His current ability vs locker room/behavior risks is what teams are considering now.

3 backup OL and a FS on the cheap. Tell me how much cap space is McNair going to choke on this yr?

Lets not act like we didn't try to land a few big fish in free agency Steelbtexan and Powda.

Can't make everyone happy around this camp. Some will continue to find something to complain about.

Trying and doing are 2 different things.

Winners do

Losers talk about how hard they tried.

You can't force a person/player to come here. And you don't want to over pay a player either. If they did overpay for a player you would be on here complaining about that as well.

Damn if you do or damn if you don't mentally is what you have displayed since I joined.

You dont know what I would be saying.

If they over paid for Solder I wouldn't be complaining. If Watson gets crappy OL play again this yr I will be complaining. Example: If McNair would've given Solder 2 mil more per yr than the NYG's did I would be happy and he most likely would've come here. This is what the Rams did with Witworth and that worked out pretty well for them.

Not even close. The Bengals' best offer was 1 year, $10 mil. The Rams offered 3 years, $36 mil with $15 guaranteed. Nothing at all like paying 1 or 2 more mil. Link

It's the life I live.

Coming in 2nd in sales represents the 1st loser.

Something I dont expect you to understand.

Yeah, cuz lawyers know nothing about sales, lol, lol.

Is Pepsi a loser? Are Chevy & Dodge trucks. Nope.

Bad analogy. 2nd in the courtroom is actually losing. Maybe you're the one who doesn't understand. Too many rah-rah motivational slogans/books, etc.

If they overpaid for Soldiers and he didn't fit the bill, you would come on here complaining. You do it all the times Steel.

The bottom line here is Solders did not want to come here. It didn't matter if we offered more. Better yet our offer was better.

Are there numerous reports of us pursuing a number of major free agents? Please post.

If there are, did they reject us because of Mcnair's comments? Please post.

Is there some other motive for the cap space We're not using? Please post.

I'm all ears.

Or maybe you're an A-Hole

Already been posted. You can look it up on here.

I'm out of here, same thing has been happening for 15 yrs and counting and y'all are still either in denial or just enjoy making excuses.

Continue giving each other BJ's

Why? He can do his on damn research. He's very familiar with Mr. Google as well.

Now whose being the A-hole after being run off by JB.

I haven't been run off by anybody, everybody know how I feel about the Texans org and not much has changed this offseason despite a new GM. That tells me the issues are at the top of the food chain.

The reason I stopped posting is I really dont have much to add when it comes to all thing Texans org related. This just in: you really dont add much either except calling McNair a racist. (Which I happen to somewhat agree with, although his main reason for issues with the NA/Newton?AJ etc... ALWAYS comes down to the color that matters most to McNair. Green)

He was asking $16 million in Dallas what makes you think he won't be asking that much somewhere else?

Nothing. Only the market won't yield that and his request will adjust.

His request won't adjust Dez thinks he's, Still thinks he's an "elite" receiver and that isn't reality so with a market that won't cave
and Dez thinking he's got it, this Texas standoff won't be ending anytime soon

He'll play this year. I would hardly call this a standoff with the texans. Has there been any report of a TEAM (us) interested in him?

When he settles for less then 16m a year, I'll revisit the topic. I'll see you then - don't dodge out.

JJ Watt -- 2nd biggest deal in NFL history for a defensive player (at the time).
Nuk -- highest paid WR (at the time)
Clowney -- highest paid non qb? (we'll see)
37MM guaranteed for --
brock-fumble.gif

I think we know how to spend money -- just not how to spend it to build a team. Hopefully Gaine is changing that and there is a long term plan. The secondary and o-line have been partially addressed. We still have time to make some moves this year and I think that by training camp 2019, we'll have a sense of if Gaine has a strategy that is working. There's not too much to complain about concerning the team under Gaine so far IMO.
