Considering there's nothing to tank for.....I guess we don't call it tanking at this point?
The Texans have again released Chunky "the ping pong ball" Clements.![]()
Tom Savage and Nick Martin have been placed on IR.
Chunky Clements and Ibraheim Campbell have been called up from the PS.
Quessenbury has been promoted from the PS to the active roster and will finally get to live out his dream of playing in the NFL!!!!!!!!! Congrats DQ!!!!!!!!![]()
As it turns out, despite numerous sources yesterday reporting that Savage was placed on IR (including Aaron Wilson and ESPN), the Texans haven't officially placed Savage on IR yet..............but he is not expected to play again this season.Doc, I heard Savage didn't get put on IR yet. Did you hear that he has been put on IR?
I assumed they would let TJ play until the Oline busted him too. Just think, we could see #8 QB'ing againAs it turns out, despite numerous sources yesterday reporting that Savage was placed on IR (including Aaron Wilson and ESPN), the Texans haven't officially placed Savage on IR yet..............but he is not expected to play again this season.
What’s wrong with my man DJ Reader??
I'm so excited for a player that will never see the field this year......or maybe ever.................but could be interesting to bring him into OTAs.

Aaron Wilson:
Texans sign ex-basketball player Jevoni Robinson to practice squad
By Aaron Wilson, Houston Chronicle
December 26, 2017
The Texans signed former North Carolina State basketball player Jevoni Robinson to the practice squad.
Robinson is a 6-7, 240-pounder who's listed as a tight end. He's played basketball overseas in Italy.
Robinson, 25, walked onto the basketball team at North Carolina State after being noticed in a pickup game by a team manager.
He later played for Barry University. He attended North Carolina Central, but didn't play basketball.
Robinson went to high school in Charlotte, N.C., where he played wide receiver.
He played basketball previously in Jamaica and also competed in track and field in hurdles, long jump and high jump.
Sorry, but I see this as just Ricky being Ricky.............hoping for a flash PR for the uninformed and unintelligent..............So a ridiculous athlete who has never stuck anywhere or any sport for any length of time it seems.

The Texans have signed quarterback Josh Johnson. The team had signed (and later released) him earlier this season after Deshaun Watson tore his ACL. Houston also put safety Corey Moore on injured reserve.
